Delicious Indian food, an attentive service and a classy setting make up for a perfect dinner experience. The one star Michelin is justified.

Absolutely delicious Indian food. Service was impeccable, atmosphere was delightful. There diners, multiple dished shared. Each dish was as good as the next. I understand it has Michelin stars. Not surprised. I particularly liked the Manchurian Cauliflower though everything was fabulous!

My wife and i booked for lunch as it said on their web it was michelin star. What a let down. It was filthy, with dirty seats, cracked floor tiles and the most disgusting toilets i have ever seen! My beer came with ripped labels on it. No major issue there but as for the food.I still feel ill thinking... More

Haute cuisine does not usually apply to Indian restaurants but this exception proves the rule. From the suave, urbane, ebony reincarnation of Jeeves who casts an all-seeing eye over the establishment, one is constantly pampered. We visited during, and used the menu of, restaurant week. The appetizers, meal and deserts were all excellent. However one must put the typical expectations... More

If you are expecting service with a smile, them forget this place. Starting from the lady who showed us to our table to every waiter who served us had a grumpy face on. The only guy with a smile was the one in the suit ( I guess he is the manager). Food was good but not worth the price... More

My husband and I visited Tulsi the day after Christmas. Neither of us had ever tried Indian before but it wasn't too bad! The staff was precious-- the hostess even let me charge my phone after I mentioned that it was dying :) Our waiter was super nice and very helpful with helping us select our choices. We went with... Tulsi offers an excellent selection of classic and inventive Indian haute cuisine. Have been here several times of late and the food and ambiance never disappoint. The goat biryani is a particular favorite, but all the dishes without exception are finely executed with clear and well-articulated flavors. And where other Indian restaurants sometimes fail with pedestrian desserts, here sweets are... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
