Don't get me wrong, compared to a diner the food was great. However, when compared to other Michelin-star restaurants, this one doesn't stand out. Some dishes were very good, some just good, nothing was really outstanding. Amuse bouche was the tiniest I ever had at a classy place(half a tea spoon worth of blended peas) and the freebie candy after... More

Ai Fiore is a restaurant perfectly appropriate for special occasions but equally accessible for a simple night out on the town. They manage to combine impeccable service while never feeling fussy or formal. You are not required to take advantage of their tasting menu or the four course prix fixe menu. You are made to feel comfortable whether ordering a... More

Our dinner was simply amazing! The salad was fabulous, my lobster cooked to perfection, my husband's veal he said was the best he has ever eaten, my mint chocolate dessert had just the right balance of mint and chocolate and a creative balance of textures. This is one of the best dining experiences we have ever had!

We had impeccable service, wonderful food, and a thoroughly enjoyable experience in an elegant environment. We were not rushed.

Been here several times, always had a good meal. Not memorable, but still good. This time around was with business associates (4 of us). The signature house pasta was delicious (Spaghetti Bottarga). But my Swordfish was so-so. I wanted the dover sole but it was listed on the menu designed for 2 persons. The waiter told me I could have... More

I hadn't been back for a few years but it was as good as I'd remembered. The food has that special tastiness that makes you happy. It's not out of the league expensive and wine list is reasonable. I only wish I could eat there more often.

I was there with colleagues as we were staying in the hotel and did not want to go out in the freezing cold night looking for a restaurant on a Saturday night. The venue is posh and comfortable though the staff are not so classy and somewhat unfriendly, but incredibly efficient! The food is good, sometimes very good, but not... More

We were so excited to come and dine at AI FIORI as we heard so many great things. Unfortunately, it didn't deliver. At all. My fiance and I decided to try the prefix menu (99$pp) so we chose 2 different appetizers, 2 primi, 2 meat or fish and 2 desserts. We also wanted to talk to the sommelier but he... More

This very large restaurant is pretending to be a fine dining establishment, but it feels like the creation of someone who has only read about great food and elegant atmosphere. Granted, we went on Valentine's Day, but a tasting menu that costs over $200 a person has an obligation to be something greater than a catering service meal. Identical courses... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
