Just arrived in NYC and we're starving so went for a walk and stumbled upon Lallisse for brunch. Lucky us! Service is wonderful - they make you feel welcomed and comfortable (not something you typically experience in NYC). Food was fabulous. Very fresh ingredients, organic...More

Instead of waiting an hour for a table across the street, we tried Lallisse and we were thrilled. Food was delicious - from the omelettes to the French Toast to the Benedict. Really liked the Turkish potato salad and tossed greens that accompanied the omelette...More

Like others, ended up here due to the line at Penelope's, but wow! Delicious Mediterranean omelet full of veggies and feta, served with green salad and herby cold potatoes. Birthday boy enjoyed his eggs with spicy lamb sausage immensely. Staff is superb, atmosphere is charming....More

Penelope's had a queue that went out the door and down the street. We went to Lallisse instead for our first experience of a NYC brunch and we were so pleased we did. The food was really tasty and although there was a wait for...More

This was a great find. We were headed to Penelope's based on recommendation but given the long wait we walked across the street and tried Lallisse. Excellent, very attentive service with reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

We traveled to NYC with friends and our last meal was at Lallisse's for brunch. It is a smaller/well decorated restaurant. There were several open tables when we arrived, but took about 30 minutes to be seated. They seemed to be under staffed one I...More

Description
Lallisse is one of the select wine bars in NYC, a haven for real wines, naturally made without cosmetics or chemistry, sprung from the vineyards and ancient cultures of the Mediterranean. It's a place to enjoy simple, soulful and sustainable Mediterranean food and talk for hours over organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines. Lallisse offers 100 types of wines - approximately 40 by the glass options. Lallisse's unique selection features wines from France, Italy, Spain and the Fertile Crescent - Eastern and Western Anatolia (Turkey), Greece, Israel and Lebanon. After spending extensive hours of wine tasting and going through hundreds and hundreds of bottles we created a list consisting of artisan wines produced by old and historic estates of the Mediterranean run by small organic producers. It's simply the stuff the locals drink! In the spirit of friendship and love for the life, food and wines of the Mediterranean, we happily invite you to do the same.
