We stopped here on a whim, walking back to our hotel. This is a charming, inconspicuous delight. Every aspect of our meal was terrific. The one glitch might have been the bland beets in the salad--but aside from that, everything is fresh and unique. The hummus and pita was creamy, almost buttery. The fried calamari had a bit of a... Saturday brunch is terrific and the dinner menu is great too! I had the steak and eggs, and it was delicious. Scrambled eggs and the steak was cooked perfectly. They also have an interesting and tasty take on a side of potatoes, tho on my second visit I asked them to hold the spuds. I didn't want to eat that... More

Went here five times while staying in NYC recently while our son was a patient at Bellevue Hospital. Had one great lunch/brunch with family. There were lots of choices and everything was very tasty. Also enjoyed four dinners here during our three-week stay--all were excellent. We split a salad each evening. I particularly enjoyed the grilled romaine hearts, but the... More

This place has a quiet cafe feel yet serves excellent cocktails and delicious food. I had mussels in a coconut ginger broth with nice bread to soak up the remains. Dining companion had the steak which was nicely cooked. We'd just arrived in NY after a long journey so didn't want anywhere too fussy and this was perfect. Highly recommended.

Diverse something for everyone menu, friendly neighborhood spot. Veggies, lots of salads, sandwiches, fish, meat, the works. I often order just the sides, as there aren't many vegan options for me, but there's enough for me and always plenty for my non vegan friends and family. Sweet, friendly, definitely recommend this place.

Glad I searched and found this little cafe around the corner from gramercy park. The cafe served breakfast until noon most days and starts seeing lunch at 11. I ordered a three egg white omelet which was cooked to perfection. Light and fluffy with just enough ingredients to compliment the eggs. The service was such and efficient and never felt... More

So my daughter knew this place was good for brunch and we wanted a close by place for a casual Sunday night dinner so we went. Service was excellent. We shared fried calamari which was very good esp. the sauce. I had a delicious portobello mushroom sandwich and the turkey burger was also excellent. My husband felt the lamb shank... More

We had breakfast one day, lunch another and each was an experience with great food and service. Diner style cuisine with panache. Service was top notch professional and we were well guided through the menu selections. Close to NYU in Gramercy area.

We tried many brunch places. From cheap to fancy ones. This one is definitely on the cheap side, and yet it's the best we've had so far in nearly 2 years in the city. It was fast to get a table (Saturday, 11:30am), the service was fast and great, and the food was awesome. We tried the eggs Benedict, crab... More
