Finally made it to this place which I've heard so much about! Not too many dishes on the menu but the tacos we ate were delicious. Our favorite was the tilapia fish tacos but the carnitas were also good. Come early for their happy hour...More

I stopped here because there was an open seat on the sidewalk at 10:30 at night on a Tuesday. They were still serving and going strong. First off the people watching in the village can't be beat. I ordered the Relleno. Which is not the...More

Ofrenda is an awesome Mexican restaurant located in the West Village. I had heard a lot of good things about their Happy Hour menu, but due to a subway mix-up we arrived just a few minutes too late. We decided to stay anyway and I'm...More

tiny little Mexican joint with an authentic menu. Everything we had was tasty and a good size, all whilst being served in a good time. Would definitely recommend. Huge list of tequilas but my first year of uni has ruined that spirit for me unfortunately....More

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food is quite ok, not outstanding. One of our plate was extremely spicy, although I eat spicy a lot, it was too much. Cocktails are nice and service ok

We made a reservation but arrived a bit early to get the Happy Hour drink specials- they were very accommodating. Margaritas are strong!! Queso and guacamole both amazing, as well as the fish taco. Very fun vibes and good location towards good bars. Maybe not...More

It was a nice pleasant visit. The menu is small but I can see why. Very tasty and great presentation. Is not cheap by any means but the place and staff are on target.

One of the best meals I had in the US. Also great margaritas (also horrible everywhere else). Noisy and a busy bar. But worth it. We sat outside.

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

An Ofrenda, in Spanish, is an offering, a gift. At their cozy West Village space, owner Jorge Guzman and Chef Mario Hernandez offer their unique interpretation of classic Mexican cuisine with an innovative cocktail menu of tequila-based drinks. Named by NYLuxury as “one of the top ten restaurants in New York serving Latin food” and as “Top Tequila Bar in the US” by the editors of USA Today, this intimate and stylish cocina offers its guests a blend of passions. Jorge’s desire is to create a sexy and fun space to enjoy creative cocktails with the best of Latin cuisine. While Chef Mario’s dream is to craft dishes to showcase the indigenous ingredients of Mexico, the foods his ancestors enjoyed, and bring those flavors to a new generation. This team has joined forces to offer guests a unique dining experience. We look forward to having you.
