Very fine seafood on the Mezzanine Level at The Empire Hotel. The seared scallops were to doe for and the help was friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed our meal very much!

Our favorites include the beef, salmon, and clam chowder soups. The location is amazing, and I recommend dining at an early time for the quietest meal. Too bad this restaurant no longer has 24/h room services to the Empire Hotel!!!

The seafood is fresh and delicious and the service excellent. My friend and I just wanted to get their raw seafood sampler but we had a show to get to and limited time. Our server took our order right away and served us very quickly....More

Not only is the food excellent here, but the service is also impeccable. If you haven't tried the crab cake, it's a must and cooked to perfection in a scrumptious sauce.

I had a pretty average experience at Ed's. Both the food and service were mediocre at best. Even the chowder was meh. I wont be back.

Ate here twice whilst staying at The Empire hotel. Had the full buffet once and the continental once. Both more than adequate.

If you are staying at the Empire Hotel you need to book a reservation at Ed's Chowder House. Great food. Amazing service! The only comment would be that the lighting in the restaurant could be dimmer in order to allow for a more intimate feeling.
