Lots of tourists in for a late breakfast on a weekday. Quick seating, service, and food. We both ate large plates of meat, eggs, and waffle or pancakes. All was good except the ham. Saw a fruit bowl that looked good. NYC prices.

Excellent service, great food, with an authentic NY feel to it. Would highly recommend. Seemed a tad expensive (capucinno @ $4.50) but maybe that's just NYC!

I've been here before as it's very close to the hotel I usually stay at when in this area of Manhattan. The service, food and prices have always been good and even when busy they always manage to find an open table. Again it's hard for me to get excited about breakfast but they do a good job of it... The place was convenient and we tried it based upon Tripadvisor notes. It was only average. Sub par bacon, soft sausages I did not like. Eggs and toast and juice that was not fresh squeezed. $35 for two was a bit much for what we got.

Staff attentive and great service. Food was great, set us up for a day of sightseeing. Reasonably priced too. This place seemed popular with tourist (especially us Brits) and... More

Went for a wander one morning and came across the New York Luncheonette and headed in for breakfast. Busy and bustling, we got a table and enjoyed our first New York breakfast! French Toast and Pancakes with Syrup certainly made a change from cereal. Good atmosphere, locals and tourists alike

Judging by the customers this is a popular spot for good traditional hearty food with sensible prices. Lovely Greek owner with friendly and efficient staff.

What a great little find! We ate here every breakfast during our stay in New York and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast every time. Food was lovely and couldn't fault it at all. Great choice of breakfast menu as well. Service was fast and friendly, the staff couldn't do enough to help you. Pancakes and maple syrup were the nicest I've... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
