We have eaten here fairly often but the last three visits have been a bit disappointing. Food was good, but not delicious. Service was attentive but not flawless (a plain margherita instead of the ordered ginger margherita). We would have liked to see dishes that...More

Went for a business lunch and was entirely pleased. The ambiance, service and food were all outstanding. I have to admit the desserts were the high point of the meal.

The restaurant is located within the Mark hotel, but seems to be popular with local as well as hotel guests. The decor is very elegant and the staff is very friendly, customer-oriented and attentive. The food is classic, European-style with a very good selection. Overall,...More

Just incredible food! Had crispy sushi to start which was lovely, good size portion too and had an array of different fresh seafood on top. The beef tenderloin as my main was just amazing! Cooked to perfection, was so tender and juicy and I loved...More

Came here for a bday celebration and requested and confirmed on phone a nice quiet table. We ended up next to a very loud group of business men, with our backs directly to these people. It was very obvious they were ruining our experience, in...More

We love Jean George in NYC at the Trump tower. The bar scene if you can even score a stool. Is hopping. People are dressed for fashion and money. Cocktails and appetizers are fantastic. If you get a table in the Restaraunt be ready for...More

Jean-Georges opened in 1997 to critical acclaim. The jewel of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s empire, the restaurant offers the very best in fine dining. Consistently awarded four stars by the New York Times and three Michelin stars, Jean-Georges presents exquisitely crafted dishes blending French, American, and Asian influences. The local farmer’s market is the driving force behind the seasonal, ever-changing menu. Chef Jean-Georges is a master at maintaining the essence of ingredients while using them inventively to produce the best flavor. Jean-Georges’ chic and intimate dining room was redesigned by Thomas Juul-Hansen, with striking lighting by L’Observatoire. Impeccable service, tableside preparations, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Central Park and Columbus Circle all contribute to an unforgettable dining experience. Jean-Georges offers a three-course prix-fixe menu and two six-course tasting menus: a traditional tasting of the chef’s signature dishes, and a seasonal tasting featuring fresh market ingredients. The prix-fixe and tasting menus are available Monday through Sunday for dinner. The restaurant also offers a two-course lunch menu for a terrific value. Gentleman are required to wear a jacket. No jeans, sweatshirts or sneakers allowed. Tie is not required.
