Looking at other reviews I can say that we had a much better experience. We were staying at the Marriott Fairfield right around the corner and wanted Italian, so I Googled it. This whole area is not in a great part of town but we...More

I try really hard to only write reviews where there was a least something good to say - unfortunately, not this time. When we arrived, we had no reservation but were told if we waited, there were a few tables finishing up. Menu looked good...More

Traditional Italian at its best. My first visit I was walking down 9th street with 2 business associates when the owner Isac ask us to come in. We were hungry and stopped....three hours later after an amazing meal, wine, music and conversation we left in...More

This is the sort of place you would walk right past if you didn't know it was there. Yes, It has a nice sign outside, but, it's a small entrance with not much frontage or window presence on 9th Ave. Inside, it looks like the...More

Surrealistic experience, not my favourite, but my daughter loved it. Over the top decorated little place, live pianist/singer (Sunday night), older Elvis look-a-like servant/owner, that is "loudly present" and sniffles when passing the few tables. Pasta plain & fresh, not cheap nor abundant. Might be...More

We rocked into this interesting restaurant and enjoyed the fun atmosphere created by the owner. We were with a group of 12 and we all agreed the food was quite good, the wine pleasant enough and the "Elvis Impersonator" as we termed the boss, was...More

Adorable and old little restaurant. Fabulous bread and celery appetizer. Service is never great, but the ambiance is! It is always an interesting and fun meal and is very close to the hotel we usually stay at.

Food was good, piano playing was ok! Elvis a bit painful. The biggest complaint we have is the tip ($65) (6 people), but when we got credit card statement Elvis had adjusted tip to $85, please be careful of this

Small inconspicuous location, you could miss it if you weren't looking for it. Trust me, you should look for it! Owner, Isaac, greets you, seats you, and waits on you with a team of assistants that never keeps you waiting. Foods great and reasonably priced,...More

Just around the corner from our hotel, we ventured in one night. Though the service is a bit haphazard, the food is really good and the prices are quite reasonable considering this is NYC. Quite small so either book or go early.
