Most has been said. Quite dark, quite loud, but we were 4 friends and enjoyed it. Take 2-4 dishes each depending how hungry you are. Good wine list and some nice beers. Ceviche was really good but a month later and I'm still thinking about...More

I had lunch at Sojourn on 79th Street recently. The gnocchi was good but not exceptional. Service was prompt and friendly, and even though the restaurant was less than half full, the noise level was very high.

I've been going here for at least 5 or 6 years. The food is amazing and always fresh. Lately I've noticed that it's been busier during the week so I would suggest a reservation. The organic half chicken is a life saver!!!

The acoustics here are horrible. Don't go if you want to have a conversation! That being said, the food is GREAT, service is wonderful and the prices are reasonable for NY. Just go with folks that you don't want to listen to!

Thoroughly enjoyed this small upbeat restaurant in my daughters new neighborhood. Our server from Prague was a delight and was spot on with her recommendations. My 15 year old niece loved her gnocchi and my black pasta dish was a highlight. Will definitely return :)

Sojourn is a great spot for a solid meal. The front room feels like a neighborhood wine or cocktail bar and dining room in back is casual and relaxed. This is not your typical UES restaurant with white tablecloths or a beer bar with 20...More
