We wanted to head into the city for dinner and wanted a good steak. We had the porterhouse for two and could have fed three!! Our steak was cooked perfectly. Yes, you're paying NYC prices but you get a great steak!!

My wife and I went last night before the theater. Dinner for 4 with 2 bottles of wine $400.00. Way over priced and the quality wasn't great. I would not recommend. Thanks

Although nice, over $90 for a steak, potatoes and a beer is expensive, and probably not worth it. Friendly staff though.

This is our first lunch during 2017 summer restaurant week. This place has been a participant of the RW program and I just never came. It wasn't busy for lunch at all, there was only 1 other table. The table bread was warm, we particularly...More

We were SO disappointed in F&J's...the pricing was quite steep (both drink- and food-wise) and the food overall was just "meh" at best. My dining companion had to send his steak back - it was dreadfully over-cooked, over-dry, uber-salty, grisly and overall inedible. He settled...More

Our 2nd visit there and probably will do a 3rd. Had the ribeye, cooked a little more than I wanted but was tasty. Wife said her filet was good but not as tender as she thought it should be. Everybody else has filet or ribeye....More

I ordered the small fillet, which, at the time was about $36. It was just right for me. My husband ordered a larger one, but I can not recall which, probably a New York steak, and his was about $45. But the sides are also... More
