Txikito is one of the best share plate restaurants we have been to; an amazing array of flavors. Let the server suggest the choices, but do ask about prices for some of the suggestions. Our pork plate was twice the cost of most plates, however we agreed it was very, very good. It's easy to eat a lot here and... More

Everything About this place is perfect. I love to go there. The food is incredible, service impecable and gorgeous inside. You can go for casual bites or formal dinner. Nothing like it anywhere in nyc. A must! Especially if you're visiting Chelsea at scene

We attempted to go to Quinto Pino without a reson a recommendation from a friend but there were completely full. The manager referred us to Txikito, their sister restaurant run by the same chefs. It was a small, cozy place just around the corner with a Spanish, mostly Basque, menu (so we were told, I wouldn't have known myself!). The... More

We arrived later in the dining service & the staff was accommodating. we enjoyed a variety of tapas- favorites included Boqueron, and Tutera- a lovely gratin of artichoke. We also liked the Marijuli- red peppers with cheese, and especially the Octopus carpaccio. Drink menu is limited, wine and beer & oddly enough (in our opinion) the only choice of alcohol... More

My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was really interesting and expertly prepared. Yes, the plates are small and unless you're prepared to spend a lot of money, you aren't going to leave feeling stuffed, but I'm a big guy and I was hungry when I walked in and felt pretty full when I left. We ordered... More

Txikito is a Basque take on Spanish tapas cuisine, with a variety of small plates that are meant to be shared. The recipes are mostly unique, including a fabulous octopus carpaccio. The service is attentive, and the decor is pleasant if basic.

This is a lovely restaurant in the heart of Chelsea in New York City. Mostly small plates meant to be shared. We were three people and ordered approximately 6 plates, shrimp, potato salad, salt cod, sardines, asparagus, artichokes. Everything was well executed and very flavorful. The staff was very friendly and described each dish patiently. Great experience!!

The five star service, accompanied by the average and ridiculously overpriced (even by Manhattan standards) tapas have me at a crossroads. First off, the bartender couldn't have been more down to earth, but then my bottle of basque style cider(sidra) was $40!?! Having lived in Spain for the past year, and having my fair share of sidra, I've become accustomed... More
