Walked here for lunch and was not disappointed. It is the stereotypic NY deli and had about every sandwich you could want. Great food at good price.

My father in law and I were finishing a tour in the financial district and looked for a place for lunch. This was excellent. There are 40+ sandwiches to choose from with lunch specials on top of that. We walked up to the counter, didn't wait at all and the man who helped us was extremely patient and gave us... More

We had finished touring the Statue of Liberty and were looking for a quick lunch stop. We wandered around the area in search of a spot with indoor seating. We stumbled across Champ's Deli in the Financial District. It was clean, reasonably priced, and had a wide variety of sandwiches. Our sandwiches were wonderful! It came with a small bag... More

My husband and I had been visiting NYC for a few days and it was time to have a Reuben sandwich. We were near The charging bull statue and used TripAdvisor to help us find a deli. Well this place actually is at the corner of Trinity and Rector. The place is old, but pretty clean. Very friendly staff and... More

I had a meatball sub and tried crumb cake for the first time and my partner had a prosciutto sub, both of which were so delicious. It was good value for money and the people serving were friendly, as were the customers inside. Would really recommend and it brings back fond memories of our trip to New York.

Visited for brunch after accidentally skipping breakfast (approximately 11am on a Wednesday). We were served extremely fast by helpful people behind the counter. Note to self: order by menu item number, not menu description. Prices were very reasonable and was very tasty. If you are visiting on a cold day, try not to sit anywhere near the doors, as the... We ducked in here on a rainy day after touring the 9/11 memorial. Very welcoming and friendly staff. We enjoyed great toasted NYC bagels and savored their coffee. Great menu with just about any breakfast or lunch item imaginable!

Having walked from the 9/11 Memorial whilst heading towards the financial district we stumbled across this little deli. Plenty of choice and the staff were very friendly and took pride in what they did! We had burgers with curly fries and sweet potato fries.....DELISH!! Would recommend. My husband and I stumbled upon Champs as we walked to Battery Park to visit the Statue of Liberty. We knew once we were on the ferry, we would be spending a fortune to eat, so we picked Champs. The sandwiches were ordered were very good and the bread was freshly made. Definitely a lot of food for the price... More

There are many good deli's in New York City, and Champs is one of the best. We had a Reuben that was perfect - not too much sauerkraut - and lots of delicious pastrami. And, the turkey blast sandwich was superb, with spiced turkey and cheese, avacado, crisp bacon and sun dried tomatoes. A small container of slaw was a... More
