If visiting the City and in the area of 53rd & 6th Ave., you must go to this food truck and order one of the selections, all of which are good. Chicken and rice is my favorite with the white sauce. The red sauce is for those daring enough to try this sauce because it is hot! Halal Guys is... More

For something fast and cheap, this is very tasty. My 12 year old had the beef gyro, and said he'd be happy to have it every week! That's a good endorsement coming from him. Fast, hot and great value - stop by!

Beware! These guys yell at you to order quickly and pay and get the hell outta their way. In doing so, we paid for sandwich($5), combo($7), and drink ($2) which totals $14. We paid with a $20 and was given $1.00 back. They yelled for us to move forward and we tried to explain that they owe $5 more dollars.... More

Kept walking past long queue for this. Locals including police so thought must be good. Tried out one evening and was not disappointed. For 5 or 7 dollars can be very filled and tasted good. Cheap alternative to some pricey restaurants.

Food standard is same since long but food portions varies everytime you go there. Not a bad option if you want to fill your belly in $6 but most of the times guys there are little rude. Chicken has no taste and chilli sauce is too hot, so careful if ordering chicken.

Recommended to us by Famous Fat Dave, we weren't disappointed. Lamb, chicken wraps, sauce were all really good.

We get food from here every time we're in the city, sometimes more than once. It's the only place across multiple trips that we've been to several times. You just can't beat a $5 gyro or $7 rice dish. Tastes delicious and super fresh. Worth waiting in line for it!

Cheap eats and so delicious! We were lucky and only had 2 people in line in front of us, this is not usually the case, they are very popular and easily have 20 people in line at any given time. But don't be discouraged, the line goes fairly quickly. The Gyro was fantastic as was the bowl, which is pretty... More

I got a little concerned when I heard the guy who took our order telling his cooks at the cart to prepare Beef with rice. I corrected him that I dont eat beef and want lamb and he said yes..yes Lamb.... More

If you visit NYC, you MUST go get a $5 lamb Gyro. Get the white sauce, lettuce & tomatoes and mild spice for just a touch of heat.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
