We ended up here for lunch on Saturday. We were not let down. The atmosphere, service and food were amazing! Also the drinks are phenomenal! Definitely a 5/5.

First visit to Fig &Olive it was close to our hotel so we decided to try it. The food was outstanding and our server was not only helpful with us making our selection and super friendly. So good that we went back following day for brunch. Again it was spectacular.

Lunchtime in NYC is a fast paced event, and F&O handle it well. I am vegan, they didn't miss a beat accommodating with a delicious quinoa and somethingorother salad, and some Mediterranean fries that were both delicious. My non-vegan lunching associate chose the same salad and liked it just as well.

We were able to get in on this special day and get a lovely table. The decor was beautiful, the service warm, friendly and caring. The food was excellent. We liked the drink choices and left with flowers.

I took my team here for dinner. It was packed as usual and the service was excellent. Many of the dishes of my colleagues came in small pans and were presented wonderfully. We sat at a round table in the middle of the room upstairs and it was really nice. I had some vegetable appetizers for my meal and we... More

We had our table upstairs, which I think was less noisy than downstairs; in fact it was really nice. Appetizers were great, as were the salad, pasta and fish. The waiter was helpful and attentive too.

Big portions, great wine selection and very tasty food. Decent ambience. Easy to get to for those staying on East 50-53. Visited a couple of times - certainly a favourite.

We had such a great dinner at this location of fig and olive last night. We have eaten before at the uptown location, which was good too, but it's a small space that can feel very tight. This location is bigger, which worried me that it may be a more generic experience, but definitely not. Apps including the crostinis and... More

We wanted to share our great dinner with you. After approx 30 hours traveling from Shanghai via Amsterdam to NYC we wanted to go out for dinner in a nice Italian restaurant. Been here before we decided for the burata as a starter and the chicken as a main. I did not like the chicken (could have been the jetlag)... More

Very pricey but incredibly tasty Mediterranean cuisine, starting from the staples: excellent bread and olive oil full of flavor. With ingredients of such quality you can just imagine what my crostini platter tasted like... divine! You will find French, Spanish, Italian, Greek and North African influences in the cuisine, with a novel touch in every dish. The service is NYC-style,... More

At FIG & OLIVE, we want to highlight our menu’s core ingredient of olive oil, which we use in place of butter in our dishes. From a sweet and delicate olive oil from the French Riviera that pairs well with a Steamed Lemon Sole Papillote to an assertive Spanish Picual or a Tuscan olive oil that holds its own with Seared Salmon with Fennel and Green Olives, and a green-fruit Provence olive oil that we serve with a Green Apple Sorbet. Our cuisine along with an elegant white, green and terra-cotta décor immerse our guests into the essence of the Mediterranean region.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
