Peruvian restaurant with great food, great drinks and a wonderful atmosphere. Can get busy, enjoy! The walls are lined with stics that give the feeling of being in a hut. THe ceveche and chicken with rice were very good.

Pio Pio has several locations throughout NY. This particular location is in Murray Hill area, a bit tight - a long, narrow dining room with tables hugging either side of the walls and more of a neighborhood joint. As I was there for an early dinner, the crowd wasn't an issue. After reading the Yelp reviews, I was looking forward... More

This is a small restaurant on 34th street that serves the population of NYU Hospital that is nearby. The dish to get is the Peruvian chicken with its well known green sauce. I always get it cut in half to make it easy to eat. Perfect for a big lunch or an easy dinner. Table service as well as takeaway.... More

We came here for lunch and really enjoyed our food. The chicken was very good but the avocado salad was like nothing I have ever had before. It was incredible. The spicy guacamole type dressing was a great compliment to the fresh avocado, lettuce and tomato. This combination was one of the most delicious meals I have ever had.

Pio Pio is literally in my building in NYC and I love the food here. All I ever get here is the Matador Combo. The food is a massive portion and great for the whole table.

Had dinner here with my family. Lovely ambience and the food was good. Service was okay. We ordered multiple dishes and were able to share. Good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend for family dining.

Fairly good food, reasonable prices (calamari appetizer was amazing). Unique and tasty cocktails. Seems as though our party was forgotten about while waiting to be seated, but once seated service was prompt and friendly.

This small Peruvian restaurant is always full with people; the crowd proves that it is good value for the money. The restaurant is simple and modest but the food is good and tasty.

Great food and quick service. The Mom's Chicken special was enough to feed 3-4 people. My only complaint is you are sitting on top of each of the patrons at the tables next to you. We enjoyed speaking with the table next to us and they ordered the same meal on our recommendation. Try the sangria for an added bonus.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
