My boyfriend and I came here on one of our earlier dates and had such a lovely time. We ended up coming in just as it opened so it was low key and cozy. The fondue was so delicious and the choices for dipping were...More

We were advised that this bar has recently relocated to Macdougal Street from the East Village. We came across this place by chance for one drink - but ended up staying for two and could easily have stayed for more! Amazing champagne cocktails and fabulously...More

Stepping into this place is like another world. Red velvet everywhere-- you feel like you've stepped into the past, or a movie. The wine list was very good, but I can't vouch for the food as my companions ordered the charcuterie and I don't eat...More

I had high hopes for some fondue in NYC, but was disappointed. Cheddar/Apple bruschetta was good, fondue was just ok (cheese). Couldn't get up from our table without disturbing two other parties and it was extremely hot in the restaurant/bar. Passed on chocolate fondue because...More

Great ambience. Feels like a small little Moulin Rouge:-) Could be my daily hangout if I was a New Yorker. Very classy crowd and great service in a seedy (good seedy) environment. Love the name as well:-)

Visited The Bourgeois Pig on a Tuesday evening with a work colleague. Overall, it was a very nice experience. Learned upon arrival that they were offering bottles of wine at 50% off for the evening so after enjoying reasonably well prepared cocktail each we opted...More

Great gem in the east village! We went on a Tuesday night unexpectedly. It was half priced bottles which made all of the bottles very reasonable! We had a nice rose, and ordered a few small plates to snack on. We had the olive tapenade...More

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
