Stopped by when walking Highline on my own, sad I know. I join a table and tucked into some rhinegau how many pop ups have such a selection and great views of the Hudson.

Walked the Highline with friends. Hot day, needed some shade & a cold drink. Found Terroir - perfect place to grab a cold beer/some wine, relax, look at the sites, & enjoy each others' company. There were some good-looking meals around us, but we just...More

As a Slovenian citizen I'm proud when they offer wine from my country in a NYC bar or restaurant. Terroir has a huge variety and serves michelin star style food. I enjoyed rabbit stew and great variety of selected wina to pair with food. Great...More

What more can you ask for on a sunny October day? Hot cider with a shot of Madeira wine in one of the best places ever!

Came across this bar while walking the Highline. It's this little outdoor sea can with a set-up of tables and seating. It's a great location to stop and have a beer. Prices are a little expensive. Service was friendly. There is no washroom at this...More

This place sits atop the Highline near 15th St and has gorgeous views of the Hudson river. It is VERY casual (think picnic tables) and often quite crowded, particularly when the weather is great. They have nice nibbles - hummus, charcuterie, cheese plates and such,...More

Terroir is an outdoor bar on The High Line. There are a number of benches where you can sit and drink one of the locally brewed beers that are available on draft, or have a glass of wine. There is a good menu of light...More

We stopped here for a few drinks after the Chelsea Market. The view is nice, overlooking the river and there is a great buzz about the place. Not too unreasonably priced.

East Village
There’s still an independent vibe to the East Village,
which offers plenty of unique small businesses
catering to longtime New Yorkers and area college
students alike. The East Village retains a bit of the
old-time neighbourhood feel that you can still
experience today thanks to a mix of locally-owned
shops, cozy restaurants, and lively bars. The scale of
the residential blocks makes this a wonderful place to
