Enjoyed their prix fixe menu once again -- this time with friends who absolutely loved the place and the food. They would not stop thanking me for introducing them to this place. All of the following were excellent .. Appetizers: the pheasant pate with brie, the grilled avocado and the baked d'Anjou pear The mains: wild mushroom ragout, rabbit sausages... More

Good café with good wraps, perfect for a nice stop after (or before?) strolling through the Central Park. Interior is modern and relaxing.

A lifelong New Yorker, I have been to this restaurant more times than any other in the city. Spectacular food just as good as Michelin rated restaurants in Paris (I'm a foodie), BYOB, nice atmosphere, great owner, and great value. I come here solo, with friends, and with family. There's something on the menu for everyone - including plenty of... More

This is a very small place with limited menu options. Before going, be sure to check their menu to make sure there's something you like. While there isn't a lot of variety, the food they create is incredible and well worth a visit. This place is best with a very small group or as a romantic evening. For large groups... More

You'll feel like you're dining at a.friends! We joined our son for dinner here and had a lovely meal. The restaurant is tiny, but that just lends to its charm. The food is good. The menu is limited, so be sure to take a look before you go to make sure there is something to your liking. The cuisine is... More

A Cafe is worth visiting on occasion. There are few choices, but the kitchen does well on most. It's a small place.

Very cozy and cute place. The food is amazing. Service is awesome. I wish they would have a little more space. Way too small. But otherwise nice

The place is small, cosy. You bring your wine, that can be bought just across the street. I had a delicious starter: grilled avocado in a shitake sauce, just perfect. I was not lucky with my main course choice, a vegetarian dish not to my taste. As I didn't eat it, it was not included in the bill.

Had an amazing night at A Cafe with a group of friends on an international study tour. They were able to accomodate us despite the large size of our group and we had such a good time that we left at 1AM! Charlie the owner is a delight

This place is great for date night, and (in my opinion) is one of the best BYOB places in the city. The prix fixe is a great deal, and the restaurant has a ton of veggie options, which is unusual for a Caribbean place. For starters we had the escargot and stuffed avocado- both delicious, and for mains we had... More
