Staying at the adjoining hotel we thought we'd try this place - it was fairly noisy on the night we visited. The service was OK as was the food but it didnt excite and for the price the whole experience was less than we'd hoped for

Disappointed in our dinner there last month. (Fortunately, we did have a good view.) Our server was pleasant, and because we arrived at the very beginning of the dinner hour, meals did not take too long to arrive. The problem was with the food quality which was average.

Get there before sunset. You'll love the views. Enjoyed our dinner of trout and hamburger. Really well prepared and satisfying portions. Friendly, competent staff. Building has a western design and decor. Everything comes together to make this a good choice. Be sure to ask for a table with a good view.

The best thing about this place is the view. It is tremendous. The food was okay, nothing special. Our waiter was nothing short of pretentious. This place has a bar, I asked for a whiskey sour, and they couldn't make one. My rating says it all, it was average.

Because this is the nearest to our hotel and we were starving, we do not have enough choice but to go this restaurant. The food was okay but my friend who ordered coleslaw was disappointed. The steak that we ordered was a disappointment. We thought it will be a 16 ounce but it is less than 8 ounce. Service was... More

We came here based on recommendations. The service was lacking to say it nicely. Hubby's beer did not come out until we almost finished our meal and had to remind the server. The noodle soup too, which was bland. The food portion was small considering the cost. 18% gratuities were automatically added to the bill. I like the restaurant is... More

this is a good place to consider if the other restaurants are too full because this one hides at the far end of a motel. We would have been full just eating the nacho appetizer. I think the waitstaff and the menu tried hard and you'll get what you want if you really do like ranch food.

Other than a commanding view this restaurant is quite average. Food was so so and service was average at best. Restaurant was not especially clean and the food was a long time coming and then was not hot. There might be better choices in town.

Vegetarian friendly meals is a joke. The waitress mentioned that the Mole Enchiladas had a fair amount of onions but 3 mushroom slices and the rest onions per Enchilada....The Trout meal was overcooked or old trout, maybe both...The steak dinner was OK with a side of onions and mushrooms. Major disappointment.

Perhaps our expectations were too high: the Rim Rock Restaurant was recommended, the setting is beautiful and the views are stunning, and the prices are not cheap. So I was disappointed when my food came out (about an hour after we ordered it). My vegetarian mole enchiladas were very bland. A garlic chicken dish was simply a quarter chicken roasted... More
