This restaurant is what southern cooking is all about. Breakfast was delicious and so was dinner. The cost for breakfast is inexpensive, the cost for dinner is moderate. You will get your money's worth from both. The breakfast staff is attentive but not friendly but quite the opposite at dinner which are attentive and friendly. If you are on Roanoke... More
This place has the best breakfasts....cooked just the way you like. fast service too. Only been there for breakfasts on our way out of town. Never been there for lunch or dinner, but I'm sure those are great too!! Nice looking inside too.
We needed a restaurant to eat fish or meatless for Lent that wasn't super expensive. We also needed items the kids would eat. Darrells menu looked to have the best variety for everyone at a good price for lunch. The food was pretty good but a tad dry/overdone. Our waitress was sufficient but pretty short when asked questions.
Popular local with locals . The atmosphere is casual, staff very friendly and accommodating. Portions are good but food is only average.
When it comes to seafood, you just won't find a better place than Darrell's. Not fancy, just great food and great service. This is where the locals go.
We have been several times when we visited Outer Banks. The locals rave about the food and theplace is always busy. Service is good and the atmosphere is nice.
Food is great, menu has many options, very busy during peak dinner hours, prices are comparable. Easy to find, great staff, decor is sea themed and some interesting old maps on the walls.
Have had breakfast here many times and it's always great. Service is fast and friendly and the food perfect. The grits are very good and the biscuits awesome. Make sure stop there when you visit, you won't be disappointed.
