My husband and I were very pleased with our visit to Big Al’s. Food was hot, fresh and yummy. Our waiter was very nice and attentive and we loved the decor.

We'd driven past Big Al's a couple of times while sightseeing in Manteo, Outer Banks, NC and it looked intriguing so we stopped for a late lunch. The decor is a 50's soda fountain (50's/60's music) with a heavy emphasis on Coke products, past &...More

We found Big Al's while driving in Manteo on a rainy day. We loved the decor, and decided to stay for lunch. I had the BEST strawberry milkshade and the home made soup was delicious. My husband enjoyed his burger, too. We look forward to...More

We stopped for lunch today. The atmosphere was a flash back to the 50's! However, the food was DELICIOUS! And very generous! We will be coming back, for sure. Try the tuna salad sandwich. You will be glad you did!

Besides all the nostalgic Coca Cola memorabilia, music and atmosphere to sweep you back in time, the soda fountain is legit. Orange cream soda and chocolate milkshake were big hits with the kids. And burgers and hot dogs everything you hope for. I also recommend...More

A 50's type diner. Great all-American burgers, delicious homemade milkshakes, and other variety of food. A Coca-Cola collectors dream. I ordered a crabcake sandwich - it was good but not lump crab like the menu described, which is why I gave a rating of 4.

If you like Coke products then this is the place for you. They had all sorts of Coke memorabilia to look at. The food was great. Service was a little slow, but they were very friendly. It has a good atmosphere as well.

We had a party of ten - we called ahead and we got right in (not that there was a waiting line) Service was good and the food was good and the prices were average. In the long run - would we eat here again?...More
