This is my 3-4th Ethopian resturant which i tried and was not that much impressed. We ordered one Veg and one Nveg platter. Most of the ethopian resturants i went has boneless and bone chicken but this place just has one variety of chicken. Lamb was tasty. The appetizer ordered was also good but service was bit slow. It was... More

Not until a recent trip to Australia and despite being in the coffee industry had I ventured into the world of Ethiopian food. One trip was all it took so last night I decided I'd share the experience w/ my wife here in San Diego. While small in size and a bit weathered on the furniture front, the restaurant more... More

This is also a unique dining experience. The food is most unique and the manner of feeding yourself is most entertaining. You will feed yourself using your fingers and the process is as enjoyable as is the vast array of the foods served.

Had lunch here with my uncle. My son had introduced him to this place. My uncle likes Ethiopian Food and likes to eat vegan/vegetarian. This place fills the bill. The food was very good and price wise was a very good value. My only complaint was that the service was rather slow. Otherwise, a nice place to eat. I am... More

I wish this place would spruce up their decor. I suppose keeping the decor very simple keeps the prices low? The restaurant basically has a wood wall that separates the eating area from the kitchen. The food is good, I don't want to knock a small business, but I felt it was a little bit on the sparse side and... More

I love Ethopian food! I really enjoyed this place. We had an early dinner because we had plans later. We were the only ones there. The service was prompt and friendly. We ordered the vegetarian combo for 2! Not a huge fan of the yellow lentil dish that came with it but everything else was amazing! The injera was delicious!... More

The food was wonderful and the service was great. Very low key and they serve Ethiopian beers and wine. Lacked a bit in atmosphere, but who cares?!

I am traveling to Africa for my birthday in a couple weeks and wanted to find a fun and tasty African restaurant to celebrate my birthday here, in San Diego, before I leave and I'm very excited that I came into Harar. My friends and I thought that the injera bread looked like a thick gray crepe and later figured... More

Good Ethiopian fare. Very small restaurant, with a sign to match. So, it is very easy to miss. They have a buffet on Friday nights. Tasty food, and reasonably good ambience.
