The Berber lamb and b'stilla were amazing. Our waitress was very warm and friendly and had excellent suggestions for dinner. My husband's chicken tagine was good as well...but I think the lamb was better.

If you're visiting San Diego and find yourself in the mood for an exotic treat food-wise, look no further than Kous Kous. You won't be disappointed. The food is magnificent and very authentic. The service magnificent. Good date spot after a day at the zoo or hanging out in Pacific Beach or Mission Bay.

We recently visited Kous Kous and it was definitely lived up to the hype! Started our evening with the Moroccan Kiss which was ok, I definitely would try some of their other drinks next time though. Before our order came out, we were served with complimentary Moroccan bread and a hummus style aioli- both of which were excellent! We also... More

Kous Kous has been a favorite since Moumen opened his restaurant in Hillcrest. The food is sooo flavorful, made with love and you'll never be disappointed. Step down below street level and feel like you're in a special bistro in Morocco. We love the chicken tagine, both lamb tagines too! Great food, great staff!

We came here as a family for something different, and were not disappointed. The chicken tagine was absolutely delicious as well as the kefta kabob. They also have a nice selection of cocktails. The only downside is finding parking.

My husband and I have been here 2-3 times for our anniversary. Very romantic restaurant and you feel like you've been transported to Morocco. The food is really good as well. Parking - Parking is a bit hard to find as this is located in Hillcrest where it is street parking or paid parking lots. If you arrive early enough,... More

Being a big fan of Moroccan food, we were pleased to see and read the reviews on TripAdvisor about this Hillcrest dining spot and we were certainly VERY pleased we dined here. We were welcomed by the Chef/Owner and seated at a nice table for two. The decor is very typical for a Moroccan restaurant with lamps, etc. We had... More

Fantastic Moroccan food, great service and atmosphere. Server was helpful guiding our selections, and even brought a complimentary taste of spiced carrots that was delicious.
