We were seated in 10 minutes when we were told we would have at least a 15 minute wait. However, if we would have shown up at 1:00 pm on a Saturday we would have had to wait an hour. The hostess was polite; we were offered beverages, chips, and salsa immediately after we were seated. The waitress came by... More

The food is tasty and generously proportioned. The margaritas are even tastier. Live music is available. The atmosphere is welcoming...

Really thought we had a winner but like everything in Old Town, touristy and inauthentic. Three of us ate here and it was unanimous--the food was bland and just plain terrible. But, the margaritas were terrific.

We planned to go to a different Mexican restaurant in Point Loma, but it had closed down. So I checked Trip Advisor and found Casa Guadalajara as a top ten for Mexican food in San Diego. Chips and salsa were good with warm chips! Very busy holiday weekend, but got seated in about 20minutes. All the staff were friendly and... More

Casa Guadalajara was recommended by our shuttle driver on the way from the airport to our hotel and by the concierge at the hotel. When our food was delivered, we were pleasantly surprised with the quantity and presentation of the food but unfortunately the taste and seasoning of the food was lacking. The ambiance of the restaurant left quite a... More

Love the salsa and the seafood enchiladas! The enchiladas contain delicious white fish, shrimp and lobster. Service is always great! We love sitting on the back patio with the huge tree covering most of the area. Definitely a fun place to eat!

Very popular Mexican restaurant - for food and drinks. The Margheritas are delicious - huge! So if you want to be careful order small sized drinks to start! As we have found in many restaurants the portion sizes are huge and main meals are best shared between two or three people, especially if you tuck into the complimentary corn chips... More

The first thing you experience when you walk into this restaurant is the aroma of good food! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The service is excellent! My husband had the enchilada dinner with rice and beans. I had the enchilada and rice a la carte. The food was amazing! The location is very convenient. We stayed at the hotel... More

When arrived without a reservation on Sunday evening there was a 40-45 minute wait to get seated. This is usually a sign of good food, and we were not disappointed that we decided to wait. Given that the restaurant was busy and packed, the server was rushed and on the the service on slow side. We got our drinks after... More

We went to the restaurant for lunch because it was close to our hotel. We had the chicken tortilla soup. It was full of white chicken breast and vegetables. It was delicious and very filling. Both the service and food were good.
