Right by the water, I could see how this a nice restaurant to visit during lunch or for a nice dinner. We had a group party and the items were all tasty, from the salad to steak and lobster. Service was attentive.

Nice menu of standard favorites which you can enjoy while watching the surf and the surfers from behind a glass-screened patio or inside. The part-inside, part-outside bar is pretty cool also. Excellent for lunch!

A great venue, right opposite the beach, with a nice outside seating area. The glass screen and patio heaters made sure it was not too cold sitting outside, although it was very dark. They could do with some better lighting, as the small lamps on the tables are not sufficient. The menu was okay and the food was well cooked,... More

Liked this restaurant a lot. The food was done well and there were a lot of modern cuisine options. The choices were plentiful & there were many healthful options.

The food was amazing and the view was great! Our waitress was very nice and patient with me as I had to send my salad back bc I can't eat spinach. Portion sizes were great!

JRDN proved a very appropriate luncheon spot in Pacific Beach, practically on the beach. The glass wall protected all from excessive sea breezes. The lunch menu introduced a tuna 'sandwich' without bread; delicious and smart. Service was very courteous and caring. And: tea was served with honey!.

We went to JDRN's for the 3rd time for our anniversary. Every year for the last 6 years we come to Crystal Pier to celebrate. This year the restaurant was disappointing. I made reservations over the phone telling them when they asked that the occasion was our anniversary. Usually that is celebrated with dessert with written wishes on plate and... More

In town for business, taking a stroll along the beach and watching the novice surfers trying to catch a wave. I was looking for a nice spot to eat breakfast and had passed a number of snack shacks, packed to the rafters when I chanced upon JDRN. Wow - nice seating and a menu where taste and freshness matters. Seafood... More

We stayed at Tower23 and visited the restaurant at least 3 times during our stay - once for the fabulous Chef's Tasting menu for my birthday and couple other times for drinks. The food and service was amazing, they had great happy hour specials (including 1/2 priced bottles of wine on Tuesdays!) but after happy hours, cocktails could get quite... More
