As we have extra time before we board our ship for our first cruise we are just chilling. Being right across from our motel and overly excited we decided we needed something to calm us. So here we are.. awesome sitting, wonderful workers and very relaxing. Just what we needed. .

With Italian speaking staff. We stopped by for a light dinner and were not disappointed. My partner chose the Mare salad of tuna, smoked salmon, shrimp in a bed of mixed greens. For me, I ordered the chicken parmigiana with salad. Just slightly over baked but still delicious. I paired this with a glass of Argentina Malbec (excellent for the... More

Very quaint little cafe. Made me seem like I was in Italy. Extremely friendly waiters that were actually Italian. Food and wine was exceptional. Had the Meatball appetizer and the Grilled Salmon over Greens with Shrimp. Wife said the wine was exceptional also. This is a hidden gem with great food and great prices.

We walk the mongrels by this restaurant all the time, and only recently had a chance to stop in for a meal (beagles in tow). I'm glad we didn't look at Yelp before stopping, otherwise I might've had second thoughts. All we knew was that we wanted a good meal, and every time we walk by, the scents coming out... More

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel staff across the street, and I loved it. The service was great and the food was terrific. They modified my selection a little bit for me, and the waiter even made a suggestion that was better what I had chosen. Being by myself that trip, I didn't venture out alone for a walk... More

We had smoothies, proper Italian coffees, great breakfast eggs and prosciutto and top service. Fresh fruit instead of the usual hash browns. Across the road from Holiday Inn Express. Loved it.

My friend and I stopped by for lunch on Friday during Comic Con. We chose a seat outside, and it was lovely. My friend ordered the special, which was a fettuccine dish with shrimp and mushrooms. I ordered the mushroom ravioli. The meals were delicious, and wonderfully authentic. We each had a glass of red... Do not pass up on... More

Our hotel was across the street from this cafe so my husband and I decided to try it out and I'm so glad we did. The weather was perfect that day so we ate outside. We both ordered the lasagna and we both agreed that it was the best that we have ever eaten.

I happened on this restaurant a block from my hotel and it was wonderful. It was small with indoor/outdoor seating with a neighborhood atmosphere. Several regulars were dining when I was there. It also has a well-stocked bar and sports TV. The menu was Italian, of course, and I ordered the eggplant Parmesan. It was a sizeable portion but not... More

I ate here two out of two nights I spent in SD. If I was here four nights I would be there for dinner four times. Wonderful ambiance inside and comfortable outside as well.
