Absolutely cracking bar. Trendy and cool with amazing staff. Matt behind the bar is a true gent and this place became our bar of choice during our week on business. Good crowd of customers attracting a better dressed gathering than most of the other bars on 5th Avenue.

Perhaps if I hadn't had lunch at Provisional Kitchen just down the street 4 days earlier, I would give this restaurant an average 3 star rating. But the comparison drops Searsucker down one notch. Service was attentive and helpful. The furnishings are efficient and clean. Unfortunately, they pipe in music a bit on the loud side: maybe appropriate for the... More

Wonderful meal made over the top by the friendly and attentive service from Kelly. We shared the Opa fish and fried chicken. Spicy both, and well presented. Many great choices in The Gas Lamp, but at least for us, tonight, Searsucker was a great choice. Keep up the super customer service!

We happened by this restaurant on a Sunday night and decided to go in. Great food and drinks. Biscuits were salty, but that was my only complaint. Wait staff was efficient and helpful. Octopus was tender, perfectly cooked. Steak was just right. Music was good and I'm not a youngster. :) really enjoyed. Would definitely go back.

Having to wait for a hotel room can sometimes be tough. Yes! I got to the hotel too early, for once! Lol They (Hyatt Andaz) recommended a restaurant a few blocks away. And yes, you will pass some loud and some busy restaurants. And the Name "Searsucker" made me hesitate. I'm sure you'll understand......Wow! Simply Delicious with Wonderful service! Enjoy!... More

This is by far my favorite restaurant in downtown area. Plentiful unique menu choices and the food is prepared and cooked to perfection. The portion size is kind of large so I would recommend going there with at least 3 or 4 friends. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Siri pointed this out as we walked through the gas lamp region. I had seen some bad reviews earlier so was hesitant but our fears were unfounded. Ok the music is loud and the restaurant dark. But the service was excellent and the food really very good. Although not cheap compared to some of the rip off joints in santa... More

Yes the interior is beautiful as is the bar, maybe younger people call it lively, at 60 something I call it loud. I think some of the noise is due to pumped in music. We arrived with a reservation and were seated right away, the bad news is it took over 10 minutes to be waited on, then another 6/7... More

Truly a great meal experience with good choice of both seafood and meat entrees. Huge scallops and savory fish entrees. Appetizer menu really good- try the grilled octopus and the French fries in duck oil are terrific. Good cocktail menu as well. Service is very well versed on the menu. A fun place to go as very lively.
