This restaurant in old town quarter serves original mexican food , it's hot and spicy. It makes I eat a lot, mexican steak cut into pieces with spicy sauce wrapped up in tortillas with bean mash, rice . It's yummy.

This is possibly one of my favorite places in Old Town! The chips and salsa are amazing. The guacamole was delicious. I ordered the flautas (and get them almost every time I go there). The people are very friendly and it has a great outdoor seating area. Look on the back of the menu, they have smaller plates (which are... More

The place we chose was closed for a wedding, that's how we got here. Never again will this happen. First, the waitress didn't know zinfandel wine can be red. Well, ok. But the white one they serve (when you ask for red, yes!) is no wine, but a fruit compote. My husband decided to have a soup with potatoes and... More

We were a party of 9. Service was slow. The attitude of the wait staff was lax. It seem like a "tourist trap attitude." Furniture is old and worn. I was surprised at the cheap cutlery and the thin paper napkins considering the higher than average price for Mexican food.

I had heard so many wonderful comments about the food in Old Town- that I knew I had experience it for myself. One of our party approached someone asking for a recommendation & was told, "The food is great in both of the larger places, but El Patio has the best Guacamole in the world'. That was enough for me-... More

We went for brunch today, and they had a great buffet of items. There were homemade tortillas, roasted chicken, ribs, bacon, enchiladas, fruit, etc. Also had an omelet bar as well! Very authentic, where we were really the only Caucasians in the place! That is what I love in an ethnic food restaurant!

Nice location away from the crowds in Old Town. The food was very good and there was a guitarist singing Mexican songs.

The seating is quick then the service is a stand still - Waiting to finally order - Drinks -blah chips stale and salsa very poor (probably out of a bottle instead of home made) - Food took forever to arrive when though this patio restaurant was less than a third full - Our waitress was pained at serving us (nothing... This is a place that can be easily overlooked because it's set back from the street. We had a bit of difficulty with our server who couldn't fathom that we didn't eat meat but fish is okay. After we both ordered (for me the tilapia Vera Cruz and my husband, the shrimp diablo), we asked if the soup that was... More
