I was excited to stop here because I am a fan of pancake places. Unfortunately, this one was well below average. The place was very busy for a Saturday morning and we weren't greeted by our server for about 15 mins after being seated. Then,...we were greeted with a 'ya ready?' Service didn't improve from there, unfortunately. Food was average. I ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes and they were average tasting. The booth we sat in was dirty and so were the bathrooms. Just an overall poor experience; I would not return here in the future.More

Breakfast Sunday morning

The service was efficient and friendly. They have an extensive menu. They take your phone number and text you when your table is ready. The food was delicious. Very friendly staff

Still Excellent

We visited this place six years ago and the food was good. Because the food was so good the first time, we decided to do it again. We had breakfast food. The pancakes were hot, the butter melted quick, and the syrup was warm. This...was some good eating. We liked the food so much, we drove from Kansas City, MO to Topeka to eat. I highly recommend this place for eating.More

Yummy food served with a smile

Best breakfast in town

Pancakes the size of a dinner plate! And they are so good. This place looks like a dive but has some of the best breakfast food around. The servers are extremely personable and seem to enjoy working there. Everyone was friendly. Will definitely go back!

Great food and service!

Food was wonderful! Great service! Worth the effort to get off the interstate to find it! Can recommend Chicken and Waffles, Cinnamon Roll French Toast, and Chicken Fried Steak. Chicken Fried Steak is homemade here.

Highly recommend

A good ole country breakfast provided by a great staff with downhome hospitality. Variety of selections allowed us to order exactly the portion size we wanted at a reasonable price.

Surprisingly diverse menu

We were there for lunch. My husband had the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap and I had the California Chicken Wrap. He raved about his. Mine was a bit on the bland side, but the chicken was well cooked. To be honest, I should have ordered...something more in the "brunch" line. Service was casual, in a very good way. We felt like "locals." If we lived here, we'd be getting breakfast there weekly.More

Awesome Surprise

This place was GREAT. Our dishes (Eggs Benedict and A Rebeun Sandwich) were hot fresh and delicious. The many dishes we watched passing all looked amazing as well. Portions here were plentiful and the wait staff were home town friendly.

Delicious Diner

We stayed over night in Topeka and enjoyed breakfast here before we went home. The atmosphere was like a typical diner. The staff was really nice. The food was pretty good. My husband tried the lemon blueberry pancakes with the lemon syrup and enjoyed it....I didn’t care for the lemon syrup but glad he liked it. I had the Monterey chicken breakfast bowl. I did enjoy my food, it was good. We also had the cinnamon roll with maple icing and it was tasty. All in all, it was a good experience.More

Not a great omelette

We went to Hanover Pancake House because our hotel did not serve breakfast. Two of us ordered vegetarian omelettes, but they were not made with love. The mushrooms and spinach were not fresh. The boys seem to like their pancakes just fine. The service was...about what you would expect from a diner.More

All we wanted it to be

My wife and I were looking for a solid breakfast before leaving town. This is exactly what we were hoping for. Everything we ordered was the way it was supposed to be. Chicken fried steak, crispy hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy... they have a cinnamon roll...prepared like French toast. We didn't have another meal the rest of the day. The service was just as on top of it as well.More

Very good breakfast

We just wanted a quick breakfast and this was great-tried the donut holes, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, eggs, etc and it was all good!
