Went on New Years Eve. Food was pretty good although the steak was undercooked. Jacob was our waiter, very nice young man. We waited 40 minutes for a table, New Years Eve, only to find it less than 1/2 full. 4 wait staff for the...entire restaurant. We had to ask for silverware, asked 3x for drink refills. Steak knife was dirty, steaks were served before salads. Had to ask for them. They were doing the best they could considering how understaffed they were but we won't return. For $100 tab for 2 people I expect better.More

We had a gift card we needed to use and decided to stop and enjoy a late lunch. My husband ordered a ribeye and he loved it. I ordered a sirloin and it was dry. It was not enjoyable. Also, the serving sizes and choice...of sides was small. The waiter was great and overall nice atmosphere, but the bench seats are worn down and had springs/boards sticking up in some places. Uncomfortable. We will be sticking with Texas Roadhouse from now on.More

We ordered takeout after a long drive and we were not disappointed. Cooked to perfection, delicious and a wonderful dinner. The only thing they forgot the rolls but we will be going back in a week when we are in the area again and I...am sure this time they will be there when we order!More

Food was not bad, they were busy. I sat in the bar, service was a little slow but I think they were short handed.

I am not sure why this place has gotten some bad reviews? We just ate here 11/7. We had excellent food and great service! I had the chicken and my husband had a small sirloin. I had the brussel sprouts, I thought they were excellent!...You need to like brussel sprouts. 😁 I had a margarita that was very tasty! Our server was very helpful and friendly!More

The guy at the front didn't greet us upon entering..and then we ask for a full booth then he seated us at the smallest half booth with seats ..and had an attitude when we asked to sit in the booth that we requested.. Very disappointed.....Addressing this so hopefully it doesn't happen to next customer.. Respectfully TCMore

Awful service we waited for food for an hour and 20 min to get our food. We ordered right when we arrived. It took exactly an hour to get our checks and 15 min to get back change. Very bad experience. Will not be going...back.More

I had eaten at the Longhorn Restaurant in Florence, Al, but not at Tupelo, MS until a little over a week ago. They don’t have any form of reservations or call ahead seating, something that is gaining in popularity with COVID-19. When we arrived, they...said 45 minute wait, even though they didn’t seem to be very busy. The bar was almost empty, so we (two couples) decided to social distance at the bar. The bartender was very busy, but worked us in in great time. I’d never eaten a steak at Longhorn (always fish) but decided to try the 6 ounce fillet. My wife had the chicken tenders. The fillet was one of the tastiest I’d ever eaten. My wife also really liked the chicken tenders. We both had a drink and to total was a little less than $50 before the tip. We will return to the Tupelo Longhorn Restaurant!More

We always have a good experience but the one time, THE ONE TIME, I have family from out of town that wanted steak. THEY BEGGED FOR TEXAS ROADHOUSE but we swore Tupelo Longhorn would not disappoint and might even convert them from Texas Roadhouse but...guess what...it was the most embarrassing experience and all I wanted to do was call a manager over and say something but I didn’t want to embarrass my family! First of all, waited waited and waited on menus, then took nearly another half hour to get our drinks in the meantime while we are waiting on our drinks we have loaves of bread sitting on our table staring at us but no silverware, no plates napkins nothing.asked for silverware while STILL WAITING ON OUR DRINKS and still asked for silverware and was told by the server “let me get y’all’s order first”. Ok, we give our order. Did we get silverware? No..drinks? No.. we cominced to tearing the bread with our hands and dipping it in the butter. Keep in mind, we stood in the parking lot over an hour waiting on a table, after we get a table another hour waiting on silverware, drinks and we only got 2 menus so 5 adults had to share 2 menus in the dark, we had to use our cell phone flashlights to read the menu because there was no lighting over our table. Server said “yeah they know the light is out, they just haven’t fixed it yet”...we FINALLY get drinks BUT still no silverware. One of my guests did not get her side dish so she asked if she could get her Mac and cheese she ordered and the server kind of had a blank stare and we simply asked “just put it in a to go container, go ahead and bring 2 to go boxes and the checks. Did she? Nope.. We arrived at 7pm..after this fiasco was over it was nearly 10 pm when we finally got our to go boxes and checks!! Your running half capacity of a restaurant, you’ve been closed for weeks and we finally can come back in and eat and this is what we get? What would have my night have been like had it been full capacity? There is no excuses that will take away the bitter disappointment and embarrassment of this dining experience!More

We like Longhorn Steakhouse alot, but once in awhile things do happen. On the last visit; a takeout, we had a few things wrong: The waiter said they were out of bags but he would use a box--which was fine but he didn't he put...it all in a very small bag so I questioned was it all there--mentioning most of the items especially bread. He said it was all there and the bread was on the bottom. I didn't take it out because I don't think I could have gotten it back in that little bag. When we got home....NO Bread.....then the butter and sour cream were in container together and my husband would not touch it...I had asked him to make sure they were separated. I put butter from home on my husband's bake potato but it didn't not melt so my husband would not even eat the bake potato. They steak had a good taste and so did the chicken. I did a survey and the manager contacted me. He was Really Nice and said he would replace it. I had a bad experience with a steak at another place in Tupelo and I couldn't even get the manager to listen to me---he didn't care. I have another gift card from there and don't know if I will even use it...Longhorn even goes higher on our scale by being so nice.More

Ordered two house margaritas for my wife and me. $9 each. Waiter spilled part of one on the table but did not offer to replace it. There went 5%. Both tasted like watered down orange juice. Left them on the table in favor of a...glass of water. So, stick with beer, here. Meals were typical chain.... Service, hummmm.More

My husband and I usually go to Tupelo Long horn on Friday evening after work but this time we went on Saturday evening and will NEVER go again at 6:30pm on a Saturday! I don't have a problem waiting 45 minutes to be seated, that's...the norm. I don't have a problem with having to wait a bit for our server to come get our drink order. I was patient when she sat my husbands salad in front of him, left, and never brought any silverware and had to ask for it from another server and ask for bread. But what I do have a problem with was the server Savannah H bring the receipt book back to the table empty, receipt only, and slowly asked "oooh, did you need your change back"?. Really Savannah H? Is this how you make your tips? Being sneaky? I assure you, Savannah H was not worth the $7 she took upon herself to pocket! My husband kept me from causing a scene but I grant you this, there won't be a next time! I will go back but Savannah H will never pocket my change again!More

We can’t tell you how the food tasted because no one came to even get our drink order so we finally left. We watched as tables around us were waited on and there were tables around us that were empty so it wasn’t because they...were swamped with customers. We were at our table about 15 minutes and then we gave up and left. My husband told the person at the hostess stand that we were leaving and she just looked at him. Don’t waste your time with this place.More
