We arrived after attending ballet at the Opera House and wanted a drink and something light. The hostess said we could sit at the bar or wait for a table. The bar was filled unless we stood. However there were 9 tables in bar open....More

We had an amazing dinner our first night in Boston. The server recommended the cauliflower appetizer and it was fantastic. Very nice evening and located very close to our hotel.

Had great service and wonderful lunch. Loved the New England Clam Chowder and Lobster mash potatoes! Delicious! The rest of my friends and family also enjoyed their lunch, including the gluten free menu items!

My sister and I stopped for dinner before our evening at the theater. Although the restaurant was completely empty, we were told that the tables would all be full within the hour due to reservations. Fair enough. We sat outside at a small sidewalk table....More

The food was very good, but at these prices you expect the service to be very good as well and it just was not. Our waiter made several mistakes. He included items we didn't order on our bill. He brought the wrong beer and instead...More

Got a bit warm walking through the downtown crossing shopping area and decided a beer would go down well. Sat up a the bar and got a couple of very refreshing beers. Also a very refreshing conversation with Joshua giving us some tips on Boston...More

Stopped in for a mid afternoon snack. Seated at a window seat, excellent service. Waiter was helpful due to my allergies. Everything was delicious, relaxed, and enjoyable.

We made reservations at Legal Crossing for an early dinner to celebrate the start of my wife's birthday week. It was timed to follow a matinee perfomance of The Book Of Mormon at the Boston Opera House. The show was hilarious and dinner was perfect....More

We went for dinner after a theater performance and although enjoyed the night the food was good, but nothing to die for. We shared the crab cakes and lobster roll (not cheap at all) paired with a Harpoon from the tap. Despite being so late,...More

Whenever I have visited Boston I have managed to have one dinner at one of the Legal Seafood locations. This was the least satisfying of my experiences with them. We went with our two young grandsons. The service was spotty (granted we had a "trainee"...More

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have

Legal Crossing is an urban neighborhood restaurant inspired by the vibrancy of Downtown Crossing, then and now. It's a cross between all of the Legal Sea Foods concepts, evolved into a new, singular experience. The menu showcases the freshness and purity of our seafood. Tried-and-true favorites from all the Legal Sea Foods concepts (Legal Sea Foods, Legal Test Kitchen, Legal C Bar and Legal Harborside, Floor 1 and 2) - evolved by preparation and/or presentation - along with exclusive offerings, comprise the menu mix. At the same time, we’re shaking things up with our cocktails. Many of them are a playful nod to Downtown Crossing’s colorful past, while the influence of Chinatown is seen in some of the exotic ingredients used. Inspired by the urban setting of its neighborhood, Legal Crossing is slick, dark and modern with glossy, black brick paired with glowing amber glass. In warmer months, we open our patio along Avenue de Lafayette.
