As a frequent business traveler, I dine out often with colleagues in new cities sampling recommended restaurants and cuisine. Therefore it takes a lot to impress me. Eastern Standard is probably one of the best dining experiences I have had in years. We sat outside...More

The bacon. The bacon. The bacon. Ridiculously good. As are the potatoes, scrambled eggs and sausage. Such a good breakfast. Even the toast with butter was something special. great place when you have too much to drink the night before.

From steaks to seafood, everything was superior. The wine selections are top notch. I will be heading back there again soon.

Since its opening, Eastern Standard has been one of our favorite Boston restaurants. Therefore we were surprised on a recent visit to have a less than satisfying evening. We initially ordered mussels for an appitizer, a traditional french standby, only to find a dish of...More

What a piece of history! Thanks to Morgan for all of her efforts to organise a large table for us. Good food and wine and a relaxing, cosy place for breakfast.

I don't see any vegan dinner options on your menu. We're coming as a party of 3 and one person is vegan. What should we do?

I would call the restaurant. One of our party asked for gluten/free bread and was told there wasn't any. However, the server brought a little dish of some kind of cold marinated veggies that she was happy with.

Hi, I need to know if we can book a table of 12 persons for Monday the 18th, in May 2015. Or how else can I book a table ahead to ensure that we dine at the specific date?

I suggest you call the restaurant as soon as possible. It was pretty busy when we were there but we got in because we only needed a table for 3. Arranging big parties should always be done ahead of time. Have a good time!
