We began with a burrata surrounded by melon bites and a lovely raspberry sauce. We shared the melon and peach salad with pistachios. Both were delicious. My husband had the half chicken with mushroom sweet corn stuffing. He remarked how amazing it was. My flat...More

We had a very late night meal here after a record breaking extra inning game at Fenway. Our original reservation was for 9 pm and they were very flexible each time I called to push the reservation to later. We finally arrived an hour later...More

While staying in the Commonwealth hotel, several times we enjoyed breakfast and dinner here. The ambiance is just great. We really loved the place. Service is quick and efficient, food of good quality. To our Dutch standards, the price/quality ratio was a bit too low...More

In town for wedding with suite at Hotel Commonwealth, so the adjoining ES was the perfect spot for celebration. Wide range of menu choices, lovely wine list, great cocktails! A bit noisy and boisterous because of its popularity, but that added to our fun.

We recently had dinner after a Red Sox ball game. The restaurant is close to the ball park, so you can quickly walk to it after a game. The food and service were terrible. We had several different food selections and we did not finish...More

We love this restaurant. It is a short walk from Fenway and stopping in for a night cap and light fare has become a required part of our trips to Boston. We have never been disappointed with anything we ordered and the staff is fantastic.

We ordered the scrambled eggs which come with sweet maple sausage (not in the sausage description on the menu). The home fries were in large chunks and are nothing to write home about. I was expecting a bagel similar to a NY bagel but was...More

The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but
loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this

I would call the restaurant. One of our party asked for gluten/free bread and was told there wasn't any. However, the server brought a little dish of some kind of cold marinated veggies that she was happy with.

Agree about calling ahead and asking. It is a very large room, but crowded. Also, check and see if there are any events occurring that date because that makes a huge difference in boston. Graduations, marathons, Red Sox... More

I suggest you call the restaurant as soon as possible. It was pretty busy when we were there but we got in because we only needed a table for 3. Arranging big parties should always be done ahead of time. Have a good time!
