Food was fantastic but the wait was made worse by the extremely rude hostess. I felt sad that I was willing to deal with that to try this place out.

Stopped by on the off chance of a table 1hr wait - not too bad on the face of it. Lots of oyster choice - raw bar looked great. Seemed quite pricey however. Also had lobster roll - huge portion and good taste - perhaps...More

My husband and I went there for dinner - the oysters and clams were so delicious we made an entire meal out of them and never had an entrée; but people sitting around us said their meal was delicious. In a great neighborhood. No phone...More

This was one of my most enjoyable meals in Boston. So worth it and I will be back. However be prepared! It wasn't the first time I attempt to eat here, my first trip here I never got in. It's extremely popular and extremely small....More

We went by Neptune Oyster around 5:30 and there was already a two-hour wait for 2, so get on the list as early as possible. By the time we were seated close to 8pm, the restaurant had started turning most people who weren't on the...More

Neptune Oyster us only 11 years old yet has achieved iconic status when it comes to lobster rolls. It's small (seats approx 36 people - tables & bar). To avoid what can be a significant wait, line-up 11:00 am for their 11:30 am opening for...More

I love places that are busy, relatively informal and that serve up exquisite food and excellent wines. Similar to desnuda in NYC and Joses in London, this places rocks the sh&t out of its own niche. The lobster roll was recommended to me and boy...More

Quaint restaurant. Highly recommend the JohnnyCake and the Lobster Roll. The oyster selection was spot on. Not for someone with shallow pockets, but a great dining experience.

People go there mostly for their lobster rolls that ranks in the best top 10 in Boston and their oysters, but it worth going there for their other fish and sea food. We had halibut, scallops, and grilled octopus that where to die for. As...More
