We had the muscles and they were awesome. Then we got the swordfish and stripped bass and both were very good. At $35/plate it is not cheap but it is very good and the server was awesome too with recommendations

With only 2 of us we only had a 35 minute wait... our server was excellent, gave great recommendations on food, wine and beer. The mussels were wonderful and swordfish was delicious; good sized portions although on the pricey side.

ok, read many reviews. Stood in line just like many stated, 45 minutes, during the week for lunch. We did get there around 12:30. We ordered a variety of oysters that came out fairly quick. However, we waited for our lobster rolls for about 40...More

The wait is well worth it. Its a very small place. But once inside, you'll be glad you waited. Although famous for lobster rolls, the rest of the selections are equally enticing.

Cioppino, "cha" "peeno", is a somewhat spicy brothed seafood stew, containing shrimp, clams, mussels and fish. Nothing is raw!! I don't do raw oysters etc. but I enjoyed this and felt like I was getting an authentic Boston seafood experience. The clam chowder has a...More

Hands down the best lobster roll we have ever had. Just overflowing with the freshest lobster meat and their buttered bun is absolutely amazing. This might be the biggest reason for us to come back to Boston. A must try

This is a small place so you need to get there early to avoid a long wait for the best Lobster and Oysters in the Boston area. I always go for the Lobster roll which must have a good lb on meat on it. Not...More

The lobster roll, their signature dish is amazing, however I wish they had dessert. It feels they really want to get you out of there as quickly as possible.

Great spot to get some of the best oysters in Boston. The place is small so wait times of over 1 hrs are normal.

We made this our first stop in Boston and I recommend you do the same. We got there before 11 am on a Thursday and a line was already formed waiting for them to open. Some people still had their luggage. We took the very...More

Where do you go while waiting for a table? There is usually a long wait, which we don't mind a bit because we are prepared for it. In nice weather we could hang out and walk along the Rose Kennedy Greenway, but we are going in late March and the weather will not be that great for outdoor activities. Any bars that are close and are good for a quick drink while we wait?

Check out Vito's Tavern on the very next block. Very nice, large selection, great ambiance, though a bit deafening. They get a lot of waiting traffic from Neptune. Neptune calls your cell about 10 minutes or so ahead of your... More
