Great Food and Lovely Decor. Located in the ground floor of the hotel making it convenient to access. Area allows for an intimate setting or for friends gathering together as well.

I have been to Tamo before for dinner with friends and knew it was good. However, we were with our kids this time looking for a place for lunch. I wasn't sure it would be kid friendly as it is a very nice restaurant. I was so happy to find that the opposite was true. Some of the more upscale... More

This place has pretty good food, great drinks and the staff is super friendly!! Could use a few more big screen TVs for game nights but what they have works nicely.

We had no idea this place was this good, or we likely would have opted in to a meal here sooner. We knew to expect nothing but the best for our wedding that we booked at the Seaport Hotel after having a meal here. The service was impeccable, and the food was nothing short of amazing.

I was staying at the Seaport Hotel and have been to Tamo twice. Very good food, as well as the service. Not a budget restaurant, but it's worth the visit.

I ate at the restaurant with my 8 year old son, while staying at the Seaport Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The menu was varied with plenty of choice for both myself and my son. He chose a Bento Box which he loved as he was able to choose from a list of options to add to it. I opted... More

Excellent food, a very simple menu but well selected and very eclectic. It reflects the managers tastes and will please most who come for dinner. I had the lamb shank which was very well prepared. Kathy had the calamari which we highly recommend. The service is exceptional. The wine list is comprehensive and reasonably priced.

Lovely setting. Comfortable seating. Attentive wait staff. Excellent light menu. Four of us, staying in the hotel, enjoyed Christmas Eve lunch. Clam chowder, broccoli cheese soup, turkey wrap and hamakshi sushi roll were all very good. Drinks were also delicious. Would definitely return.

(Let me start by saying this review is overdue, but I believe it is better late than never.) My daughter's college graduation was held on a Friday morning in early May at the Blue Hills Bank Pavillion. Post ceremony, it was the height of lunch hour and the family wanted a local, quiet space away from the crowds to eat... More

Stellar service, incredible food and perhaps the best martinis I have ever had. The martinis were filled to the brim- and honestly not that expensive. The pizza was excellent- and even though the kitchen closed at 11pm, you could submit an order at 10:55. The second night I had seen that the room service menu had filet- and it wasn't... More

Seaport District / South Boston Waterfront
This area has been expanding and becoming more and more popular, for good reason. Not surprisingly, the seaport district of South Boston is located beautifully along the water. The area is designed for easy strolling along the HarborWalk, and there are bars and restaurants for all ages and budgets. The Institute of Contemporary Art is located in this area in a contemporary building with an absolutely stunning deck overlooking the water. In the summer time there are Friday music concerts on the deck of the museum. Nearby, there are many green spaces to enjoy.
