The food here is fantastic! It's not a big place at all, but good things do come in small packages! The food was worth it and worth the price. A definite must if you want true Italian!

Non tourist stopped here for what I hoped would be some good Italian comfort food. Got the $7.50 bait and switch "sparkling water" to start. Lunch special menu seemed like a good deal, but I asked about the difference in plate sizes from the dinner menu..waitress informed me that dinner menu portions were double the size and very ample. I'm... More

Had a meal with my wife and we enjoyed excellent appetizers. entrees and dessert. I especially recommend the Divers Scallops Agrodolce. My wife enjoyed her pan roasted mussels as an appetizer - the broth was phenomenal.

On an unusually warm February night, we ventured into Pellino's as we were attracted by the open windows to the sidewalk. We were seated right away but then felt the serving process was a little rushed. I had angel hair with meatballs, my wife had chicken cacciatore and my daughter had chicken broccoli ziti. While the food was good, there... More

We were in Italy last summer. When we went to Pellino's we almost felt that we had been mysteriously transported back to a small, romantic spot we had found in Rome, We used a Groupon and were not disappointed in any way. It was a cold winter night after a storm, but the atmosphere was warm. The food and service... More

we have been there for lunch at the end December, the place is small but nice and cozy, and the waitress was nice. i am Italian and the food was good and also a good imitation of standard italian flavours, but i presume the taste here are different to the tradition we have in our country as they have been... After wandering around aimlessly for 45 minutes, I decided on Pellinos. The restaurant was rather busy however we were seated promptly. As chicken parm isn't a dish you can find on my side of the pond, I opted for this Italian-American classic and wasn't disappointed. The pasta was al dente, the sauce was spot on and the chicken just melted... More

We came here because we had a Groupon deal. But unfortunately, the food was only average compared to the other Italian restaurant we visited in Boston. Seating is nice and intimate and service was very good, but we'll not return because of the food.

My husband and I were given a Groupon for a three course meal for two. We were first impressed by the prompt and welcoming service. The home made bread and excellent olive oil arrived immediately at the table with water. We each had a salad appetizer. Mine was a fresh mozerella and tomato salad with eggplant and it was excellent.... More

Pellino's is like one of many Italian places in the North End, solid, dependable, reasonable, with acceptable service, set in a smallish, intimate space with its requisite warmth. That said, the menu amounts to the usual collection of standards, and there doesn't seem to be any big reason to come here other than to avoid the big crowds on the... More
