Rino's is one of those gems in East Boston that makes your mouth water thinking about homemade Italian food! Truly a wonderful place for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is small, reminding me of the North End in Boston. Reservations can only be made for parties of 6 or 8 or more I believe. Normally quite busy for dinner but... More

My sisters and I happened upon this lovely little restaurant and were so happy we did. Between us all we had the Bruschetta, Cheese Ravioli with Pink Sauce (fantastic with the largest ravioli I've ever seen), and chicken parmigiana and finished with an almond desert if the style of tarimisu. Sooooo gooood! Be ware the huge portion sizes...we ordered wayyyy... More

The line was 25 deep at 2:50pm today 10 minutes prior to opening. Clearly nobody was fazed by the recent less than excellent reviews and neither were we as Zagat reviewers and other critics consistently rave about this place. We were excited to try it out. The portions are really big, the quality of the food is excellent and the... More

Rinos is a bit over hyped. the food is great but in my opinion over priced. $20+ for gnocchi, plus its almost impossible to eat there. The one time I did they sat our group at different tables.

Rino's Place is an East Boston neighborhood restaurant. Far off the tourist path and a bit of a trip to get there. Given that it is a neighborhood restaurant, parking can be a bit difficult for dinner, as you are competing with residents for a limited number of spots. The wait staff was excellent and probably they know all the... More

We particularly liked this restaurant as they take no reservations, and, the entire party must be present in order to be seated; we were afraid we would have an hour long wait, but being the night before Thanksgiving, it was relatively quiet. Huge portions, great waiter.

A few years ago, I watched a clip about Rino's Place on the Food Network. What struck me most was the authentic Italian tradition and ingredients that the chef used in preparing each dish as well as the layering of flavors. My son and I finally made it to Rino's recently and had what I would describe as a mixed... More

So my wives brother called us in October and told us a friend of his made reservations for this great little Italian place in East Boston and we had to come. Said you needed to call 3 -4 weeks in advance for reservations. Everyone has to be there by the start time or they give your reservation up. Wow, must... More

Seating Warning: this restaurant is ideal for takeout but has minimal tables for dining in. Grant yourself a 20-40 minute wait in your warm parked car with your friends before expected to be seated. There is no space to wait inside. I dined inside and had the lobster ravioli. It was hearty, large ricotta ravioli but with incredible flavor. Great... More
