The crowd was wild when we visited this wonderful bakery. It was a little chaotic to get to the front to order. I don't think I even got to see all the selections but what I ordered was fantastic. The cannoli is yummy!

Long lines but moves pretty quickly! Go around clouds and go to the other side shorter lines on edges. Walked by around 2 and nobody in line! After dinner long lines! Check out early in day, get your items for after dinner! They will put...More

While having dinner at Toscano, in Cambridge Square, we met a few locals who recommended a few restaurants and Mike's Pastries. After dinner, we walked over to Mike's and walked in to order a few cannoli and pignoli cookies. We selected a pistachio and a...More

We are dinner across the street, and read all about Mikes Pastry, and the famous cannoli. Is it hype? Perhaps. Are there better places? Perhaps, BUT, having said that....deceptive of how incredibly busy that place is, the service is amazing, the line moves quick AND,...More

The line goes around the block - for a reason. The famous cannolis come in over a dozen flavors, but make sure to have a back up flavor in mind since they sell out of flavors quickly. It's a tourist spot, but a perfect detour...More

They have such a great variety of pastries. The one in downtown Boston is crazy busy. We did not even attempt to go to that one cuz the line went outside and we did not want to take any time away from our sightseeing. But...More

This place is hectic and incredibly popular, particularly with tourists (as I've been told). There were lines (six deep) out the door for the cannoli and/or gelato. They are eye-poppingly huge and very attractive to look at, but perhaps one shouldn't eat dinner before getting...More

I have tried other places for cannolis in the North End, but none compare to Mike's. Yes, there are very long lines, but so worth it. (And, the lines move quickly.) The Florentine cannoli is the best!

I'm not in favor of desserts but I must say that it's one of my daughters favorite and her friends. Seeing the long lines standing outside the shop to get a box with Mikes pastry is a common thing. Also it would be strange to...More

Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like
being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church

Agreed with previous two responses. Line around the building and shoulder to shoulder lines on the inside. Parking - I can't even imagine. Good luck!
