The hospitality and customer service shown by Tony was impeccable and from the heart. We ordered the friend calamari, grilled lamb and sausage and also the lasagna. Everything was mouth watering. The seafood was the freshest that I have eaten in any of the North...End restaurants. Topped it off with fresh brewed coffee. Will definitely visit again, just to spend time talking to Tony. Only regret: didn't have room in our bellies to order more food, ha!More

Tried to find a place to eat in the North End relatively late and they fortunately had a spot and we were not disappointed! Had the chicken piccata which was the best I've ever had. Very small place and does not have the glitz of...the other main restaurants along Hanover, but that's probably why their food is so good. Will definitely be back.More

We ran into Bella Vista in part to escape unexpected rain storm - and were glad we did! All of us enjoyed our dishes - from grilled lobster to carbonara to veal piccata, all delicious. We appreciated that they had a gluten-free pasta option, too....Tiramisu was divine! Great North End experience. Our waitress was personable and on top of things, made our evening memorable.More

A excellent North end dining experience! We were able to make a reservation on Open Table. We were quickly seated when we arrived. The entire staff was very attentive. We all enjoyed our dishes. Excellent chicken and eggplant parm. We would return again in the...future.More

There are sooo many restaurants to choose from in the North End of Boston. We hadn’t been there for quite some time due to the pandemic. But we chose Bella Vista. Tony is so welcoming. A REAL guy. The wine Tony suggested was perfect. My...husband had a veal dish, which he loved! I opted for linguine with white clam sauce. OMG! I have ordered this dish in many places, with maybe 6 or 8 clams. This one probably had 30! It was THE BEST CLAM SAUCE I EVER TASTED!! Can’t WAIT to go back to see Tony again, and have MORE pasta!!! Thank you Tony, it was perfect!!!More

Went today with the family and the restaurant was squeaky clean, the wait staff practiced proper social distancing and there was hand sanitizer on every table. The food was absolutely amazing. Best lasagna I’ve ever had and wow, the prices were so reasonable for the...amount of food you received. All 5 of us couldn’t stop raving about how good the food was. A definite must go again! Take your family, you won’t be disappointed.More

We visited March 2020 the day before the State Governor closed all restaurants. Boston was deserted. Tony welcomed us in, his hospitality was second to none. He was attentive regarding service but also had the time to make us howl with laughter with his take...on the global pandemic. A genuine man, generous with his hospitality. He promised me food to remember Boston by and he wasn’t kidding. Soft hot bread, crisp house salad and then THE BEST SEAFOOD LINGUINE in the world. FACT. A couple of glasses of a mellow red and the perfect lunch was over. Visit. You won’t be disappointed.More

Had a family visit to the North End and just walked in for lunch. Tony - the owner - came right over and made us feel so comfortable. The food was awesome, the place decorated so festively, and the staff so accommodating. I even got...a tip on where to buy the best Virgin Oil plus he took a fabulous picture of us at our table! We will be back!!!!!!More

We come here every time we visit Boston. Small Authentic Italian restaurant. Food is reasonably priced with large portions.
