Found this place almost by accident, as it is tucked into a back corner of a hall off the main stem of the mall. I have been in several other Legals, so I was familiar with the menu. I ordered the sea scallops, my friend...More

We were seeing the Holiday Pops show and needed a restaurant in the vicinity and this Legal was just perfect. We had a nice window table and the service was great. The rest was typical Legal Seafood greatness.

Had clam chowder which was good but did not have any 'extra' seasonings or additions, just a straight ahead simple chowder. Fisherman's stew was very enjoyable. Fish, mussels, clams, and sausage were all tasty in a mild tomato broth, again, mild flavorings. Crabcake was tasty but...More

We had to come here on our visit to Boston, based on all the good reviews. I am allergic to gluten and they were very accommodating. The menu clearly notes the items that can be prepared without gluten. Our server made a note on our...More

A chain of seafood restaurants whose quality has been consistent with the passage of time. I recommend you try the clam chowder, a classic. They have a good wine list.

We've been fans of Legal for 50, yes 50 years. We've had their seafood when in school in Cambridge in late 60s, in Boston & Natick in 80s, in Boca [unfortunately closed] in the 2000s. Get a bowl of their famous clam chowder and you've...More

We know shopping induces hunger - and Legal Sea Foods reels in those who want to splash down for a meal or grab-and-go. Our restaurant is located on the upper level of Copley Place, with direct indoor access to both the Westin and Marriott hotels as well as to the Prudential Center. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows overlook Boston's historic South End. Here the views and the seafood are second to none.
