We had a variety of entrees - salads, sandwiches and burgers. The hot food was hot and the cold food cold. The taste was good! The wait staff very attentive. Great place for lunch.

Me as a fish lover, just could not think about anything bad to say about this restaurant/pub. I had the Calamari as a starter, which was just excellent. Quick service, nice presented and just delicious. Very fresh and not chewy whatsoever. Had the Fish & Chips as a main. Only point of critisism over here maybe was there was no... More

My husband and I ate at Brandy Pete's on s Tuesday evening. It was empty. The many is pretty standard. Our drinks were served quickly. The pretzel appetizer, which we ordered first, did not arrive quickly. Our burgers arrived before we had finished our appetizers, which was not good. The food was fine, not great, just fine. The serve practically... More

On our last night in Boston, this little gem of a restaurant (just outside our Hilton Hotel) is where we ate. I am so glad we did. The environment was excellent, the food selections were incredible, and they had plenty of regional beer and wine selection. I ordered the Crab Encrusted Scrod and my wife ordered a wedge salad, and... More

This was my third visit to Brandy Pete's, and the first time I ordered any food. I was meeting a friend for drinks and conversation after work. I arrived before her and was pleasantly surprised to find seating outdoors. Having only been there in the colder weather (which is most of the year in Boston), I didn't know this was... More

Great location, we sat outside, they had a very good selection of local beers ... staff was very nice; the home made pastrami reuben was one of the best I ever had; after a great baked brie appetizer. I'll be back ... definitely worth a visit.

We split an order of steak tips. The food was pretty good, the service was good. The biggest disappointment was that the cloth on our table was dirty. (Gross!). The staff was nice. The decor was classy, but dated.

Quite grown up but peaceful and friendly. Food and beer fine and relaxing atmosphere. Great place to read a newspaper or to interact with friendly staff

A good local bar. Went there for lunch and had the French dip. One of the best I've ever had. So tender and flavorful. The chowder was also good. We all had a great meal and the server was extremely pleasant.

Everyone was pleased today. We ordered salmon and grilled vegetables. We had the salad with steak and the Ruben sandwich. They didn't get 5 stars from me because of the service that was mediocre.

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
