We had a wonderful informal dinner feasting on the neptune platter and sangria! The service was good, the place noisy and atmosphere wonderful! A bit pricey but worth every penny! We'll definitely be back!

The Barking Crab has become our traditional dinner meal after the normal April visit to Boston. It was a good thing we made reservations - the place was packed. Fortunately we got our tables relatively quickly. Service was good and our orders were taken in good time. I try to chose a different meal every time I go. The clam... More

So maybe arriving at a popular dockside restaurant on a beautiful Saturday afternoon should have tipped us off that there might be a wait, but... we walked in, went to the hostess table and asked for a table for two. We did notice several open tables ( maybe they were reserved, I don't know) The hostess informed us it was... More

I wish I had eaten two Lobster rolls, now I have to go back to Boston...hahaha. This is a casual place. We went as we left the brewery. The service was good.

Stopped in for dinner and had a good time. Normally they roll the walls up and you enjoy the outdoors but it was cold. Sit at picnic tables and relax. A band was playing, nice beer selection, lobster roll and oysters were tasty. Go for a walk along the water afterwards.

A colleague and I went to this restaurant while in Boston for business recently. It was a cold drizzly day when we dropped into the Barking Crab, we were a bit wet and bedraggled and we found a table near the bar, but also near a gap in the marquis wall panels. So it was quite draughty. The food was... More

Friend recommended it. I thought it would be touristy. It surely wasn't. Really good food. We had to wait. But it was worth it. BTW don't be late. When they say they are done seating people they are! Saw them turn away a few nice size groups.

We stopped here for dinner after a long day on the Freedom Trail. It was a beautiful day but it started to cool off quickly. We were seated quickly, and the service was fine , but after asking twice for them to turn off the ceiling fans and to turn on the heaters (both of which were ignored), we were... More

The best meal I had on out break to Boston and NYC. Unpretentious and completely delicious. The junior platter of lobster and crab legs was beautiful. I'd never tried steamers before so the chef sent a couple out. Good but not a patch on the lobster. Book ahead and go here rather than one of the seafood chains. Not posh,... More
