This was one of the restaurants that several locals recommended to us. We did not have a reservation, so we had a 10-15 minute wait. We did this in the hotel bar across from the Barking Crab. The place was packed mostly with “young” people....More

We haven't been here for a few years but came back when we visited Boston. It was a Saturday night (not crowded as usual probably due to the rain), so I'm not sure what the service is like usually when crowded. But when we went...More

Broiled lobster was ok... crab was delicious! Chowder was phenomenal!!! We had our kids with us, I there was one other table with kids. It is loud and fun! Great place to be relaxed! It is in a snobby neighborhood.

We visited the Barking Crab in 2010 and it was good then, but it was a pleasure to come back to Boston and be able to enjoy the experience once more. Excellent atmosphere, wonderful food and perfect location. The lobster and snow crab legs are...More

The place has a great location and good atmosphere. May be a bit expensive but for the location might have kinda expected that! The food and drink are above average for a lunch as that is what we had.

Parking is hard due to the construction and court house. There is some meter spots on Northern Ave and a small public lot. Find a spot and take a walk it is worth it!!

Located on the Fort Point Channel in Boston's Seaport District, The Barking Crab features fresh crabs, lobsters, and day-boat fish brought in each morning. We feature traditional New England fare served in a funky urban clam-shack setting. We have a full bar including over 15 regional micro brews, cocktails, and an approachable value-priced wine list. We are family friendly and a short 2 minute walk from the Boston Children's Museum.
