Our second visit to a Smith and Wollensky's. This time in Boston. I wish there was one in New Jersey, but alas, we will ALWAYS seek out one when we travel. My husband had the Coco and Coffee encrusted Filet and I had the Filet Oscar! Both chef "specialties". A Tuna tartar appetizer, a side of cauliflower parmigiana and their... More

This restaurant is located overlooking the Boston Tea Party Museum. It is a large restaurant, somewhat lacking in atmosphere. The steaks were pretty good and cooked as ordered but the menu was quite pricey without any special wow factor. The service was attentive.

With so many other great steakhouses in Boston, why would anyone come here? One reason may be the personnel, but other than that, save yourself (especially when spending so much money!). I wouldn't even know where to start; had to send back a drink- 3 TIMES! Food was ok, not great by any stretch. In my opinion, not worth the... More

An actor friend of ours recommended the place. We held a business dinner meeting there and were pleasantly surprised at the decor, the great service and the quality of steaks. One colleague remarked that it was the best steak he had ever eaten. My steak was perfect!

We were delighted with the steak meal here and like its juicy Porter House for two and love its smokey Black Angus steak. Both steak ate succulent, tasty and full of beef flavor. However compared to steak house in NYC we prefer the porter house at Wolfgang which is more juicy and taste much better. The one at atlantic location... More

Visited this restaurant for a group dinner. As we were going to be a group of 20 were locked into a contracted rate of $150pp that was to include 2 drinks, choice of appetisers, entee and dessert. Upon arrival, while we were seated in a nice private dining area the service, quality of food, drinks and experience did not even... More

Ridiculously good! Food, as always, was impeccable. Started with the Rib-eye carpaccio and the Burrata. The bride got the Filet and I got the Rib-eye. Can't say enough about the quality of the food. We ended with sharing the bread pudding. The service was outstanding as well. Our favorite in the city. It is not cheap, but compared to other... More

We just happened upon this place when we were out on a Saturday afternoon after having been at an event in Boston. We had come on public transportation, so didn't have the hassle iof trying to park there. We were seated quickly as they had just opened for the day and I think we were the first ones through the... Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
