Fantastic spot! The mushroom grilled cheese is great, and all of the different sauces for the fries are excellent, include the spicy jalapeño one. Awesome beer selection and great pricing, too. Would have been 5 stars EXCEPT for the following: 1. Our fries were mostly little fry bits, almost what would be left over at the bottom of the fry... More

Belgian fries with 12 different sauces to choose from. Belgian fries are twice fried fresh potato fries. Yummy! We also had the Chicken sandwich and sausage with two local brews from the tap. This is a small place with about eight tables. I don't give 5 stars without good cause. Highly recommend this spot!

Visited during a recent trip to Boston. Loved the poutine on fries and the dipping sauces. We also tried one of the sandwiches which was delicious as well! Go early if you don't want to wait!

There's really nothing better than the combination of french fries, gravy, cheese, and meat. And if you, like me, have dreamed of this combination, Saus is the place to go. It really is the intersection of all things unhealthy, but it's worth the calories every time. The fries are the right amount of thickness. The gravy is rich and hot.... More

Mushroom grilled cheese was exceptional. Putine was tasty with pork belly as a topping. Would absolutely go back for that grilled cheese.

We heard about this restaurant from the Food Channel. It was just as good as it looked on TV! We ordered the Sloppy Jacques (a version of Sloppy Joe’s I guess) and the Frik. Both were very different from each other but equally amazing! The Frik had onions and a special sauce and tasted like a sausage. The restaurant also... More

I first learned of this restaurant from Guy Fieri's show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Let me tell you, this WILL NOT disappoint you. There are some evil genius style sandwiches coming out of this place with incredible flavor. The large fries, are ridiculously large (3-4 people), and the 15 custom dipping sauces they make on site are incredible. They also... More

Went in for some lunch on a Tuesday and were pleased with the tasty sandwiches we ordered. Fries were great and we got the vampire slayer dipping sauce (garlic inspired) but many other sauces also sounded nice. The guy behind the counter was helpful with us ordering and came over to ask how our meal was.

Ignore the ignorant reviews about counter service. This is a walk up service restaurant and it's amazing at what it does. Fries are perfection, sauces are inspired, beers are varied and will please any palate. The staff is friendly and fun. The fire alarms went off while we were there, and the staff were great about shuttling patrons outside to... More

You order their over priced food after 10 you get subpar food AND service. NO syrup with your WAFFLE fries & chicken but BBQ sauce that taste like cough medicine. DO NOT bother tipping them at the register because they do NOT bring you the food and they tell you that YOU the customer are being rude for expecting service.... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
