Okay, we're gold card carrying Starbucks diehards, but Pavement was an awesome local coffee house with a true coffee house vibe. Great pastries, good almond milk latte and hearty breakfasts and pastries. Worth the wait in line.

Students fill all the tables with their laptops and homework for hours so takeout is the only option after waiting on line for decent coffee. So if you want to sit down go next door to Regina and grab a quick slice of good pizza with the coffee.

This is the place for really good coffee. Being from the northwest. We are use to having good coffee. Tried many coffee houses while in Boston for five days. This place was by far the best in the city, you will love it if you love good coffee. Try their fresh bagels too...

I loved my visit here. The Americano was great. Lots of flavor but not over powering. Very smooth as well. The Sunrise was great. Stop here!

Nice little coffee shop near the Prudential Center. It has some really great breakfast sandwiches. Comfortable seats.

If you want a good espresso coffee/latte, this is the place to go. Wifi is also a bonus. The cafe is buzzing with friendly students and the muffins are good too.

Excellent lunch! We split the Californian Bagel sandwich and Roasted Root Salad -- both of which were excellent. Fresh ingredients. Great flavors. Friendly staff and great coffeehouse atmosphere. Will definitely be going back next time I am in town to visit my daughter at Northeastern!

Found this cafe just down the way from Hilton. Breakfast bagels, granola with yoghurt and fruit plus lattes were good and filling.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a coffee and was really impressed. The Vanilla Latte was outstanding and the iced coffee was perfect. The bagels are great, my son's everything with cream cheese was great and mine with lox, capers, cream cheese and onions was excellent. The atmosphere is cool and the service is very good, a great spot!

This Pavement Coffeehouse is full of Berklee and Boston Conservatory students, so the atmosphere is alternative. Also get a lot of local regulars, so it is a great place to have an iced latte, capuccino and great bagels. We made it our daily stop to start the day.

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
