Dined there last night. Their menu consisted of an a la carte and a tasting menu. I naturally took the tasting menu....no brainer there. Was also smart in choosing the wine course to go with it. I was not disappointed for a minute. The service...More

Tasting menu was superb. Wine pairing was perfect complement to each course. One course after another left you wondering how they can top the taste and presentation of the last. Ended the night with a simple kitchen tour - we stayed so late that there...More

I went here with a colleague for dinner and this week. Nice decor but very loud in the dining room. The food was not good. The octopus crunched as if there was salt and was tough, the bigoli with clams tasted very bland, and the...More

The decor of this restaurant is quietly elegant. The staff is warm and friendly and the food is delicious. We chose not to have the eight course tasting menu. Rather we had the a la carte menu with three courses. While each course was small...More

We ordered a 7 course tasting menu at $155.00 per person. Few dishes were creative and brilliantly prepared, but most were well below standards. I would expect much more consistency for $155.00 per person. The service was very good and all were very nice to...More

My colleague and I visited Menton while we were in town on business.. I loved the asparagus salad and the Bavette steak. Finished with the trio of cheeses. Service was attentive, considering the restaurant was extremely busy.

Say business casual, but although people were smartly dressed most men with jackets took them off.

I don't think jackets are "required" but it's definitely a dressy place . Not uber formal , but I wouldn't recommend even smart designer jeans . On the two occasions I've been there , guys all in smart shirts , most wear... More

Menton, Chef Barbara Lynch's Fort Point fine dining restaurant, is the final concept to complete her Fort Point trifecta and joins neighbors Sportello and Drink. Located in FP3, the AIA award-winning luxury condominium complex, Menton radiates an understated elegance and offers several beautiful spaces to dine including the 60-seat dining room, a 12-seat Chef's Table, and the 45-seat private dining room. The restaurant, a glamorous expression of fine dining, was designed by Cheryl and Jeffrey Katz of C&J Katz and features a subtle palette of grays with touches of silver and black. The cuisine of Menton displays the talent for precision and visual artistry across two seasonal tasting menus and a la carte selections for dinner daily, and a more casual a la carte menu for lunch Monday - Friday.
