Before I went on a strict diet, I bought a bagel here... and IT WAS DELICIOUS. Indeed, I held a few conversational vegetarian meetups here (and even those avoiding BREAD, such as our gluten-free friends) found good items to order from their menu (typically a beverage). Staffers were very good at that time, I recall.

They make the most mouth watering incredible sausage egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel! No long wait, and an exciting array of people out side. Across the street there's a nice place to sit and eat if the weathers good with pretty water fountains and pond. Of course they make other sandwiches too, and great coffee!

After feeling gypped by our experience at Quincy Market, we popped into Finagle-A-Bagel hoping to cleanse our palates with a mighty burst of schmeared garlic. Little did I realize we'd end up what seemed like hours later like cats in a YouTube video staring mesmerized at the whirling horizontal guillotine splitting rebel rounds into two. We have high expectations when... More

We had breakfast here both days we were visiting Boston. The service is great and the bagels are fresh and delicious. This place is nothing fancy, but it is inexpensive and the quality is quite good!

I was visiting Boston this weekend and was walking around the Boylston Ave area to sightsee. When I was heading back to my car to head back home to NY, I saw this Bagel shop across the street. I thought I’d grab a yummy bagel for the ride home – boy was I wrong. The staff was completely indifferent. One... More

Absolutely delicious all-natural bagels! I never realized how much junk was in other bagels until I learned why Finagle a Bagels are all-natural. These are the best bagels in Massachusetts, you must try them! My favorite bagel is egg and all their sandwiches are quite tasty! Also, I found Tremont St. is not the only location,I have also been to... More

We were walking around, came across a fast-food chain Finagle-A-Bagel, decided on the lower cost bagel with lox spread USD 2.99 vs. bagel with lox USD 6.99; they have a vegetarian bagel, choice of bagel, we like the everything bagel, toasted bagel or not. Order the food(s), any drink(s), pay at the counter. There is a high speed horizontal chain... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
