Server was very helpful and friendly. Food was pretty good too. Tots were excellent...Would highly recommend. We liked the idea of adding our choice of a large selection of toppings on to our hotdogs.

My friend and I were walking around looking for a place to have a quick dinner before a concert at Fenway. We stumbled across this bar downstairs on Commonwealth and decided to try it out. The burger I had was big and delicious and so were the fries. Tons of food. I had water and I was a bit disappointed... More

My friends and I love the Lower Depths since they have an amazing food and beer list, but this last experience was a bit of a let down. We stopped in on a Thursday night, not realizing that there was a big concert at Fenway, so the place was packed. Luckily, we were able to grab a spot on the... More

Every time I'm in this area before a show I go here. The drinks are good and a nice selection of beer. The food is an upscale casual. But not pricey. And the vibe just gets me in the mood to go rock out and enjoy a great show. You have to duck into this hole in the wall, you... More

We made this the meet up place for a bunch of people coming to the Dead & Company shows at Fenway. It served the purpose and we had fun. Upside: great beer! Downside: tight space, very crowded.

Not a fancy place, but a good place to drop by for beverages. We did not eat, so I can't comment on the food. The atmosphere was up-beat, and the staff attentive.

Close to Fenway but far enough away to not be crazy before a game. Cash only but great beer and tasty casual food selection. The pork quesadillas were excellent. Indoor and outdoor dining available and the service was efficient. Look for the blue sign near the Hotel Commonwealth.

After a fiasco at Gyu Kaku in both Brookline and Harvard Square, my girlfriend decided to go to Lower Depths for dinner and beers. This is always one of our favorite local places since the food is amazing, the beer list is extensive and the staff is on top of things. I had their brand new Cali-Burrito and despite the... More

We passed by this place and decided to give it a try as we had been walking for hours and needed a drink. Beer is bottled but a really good choice. We also shared a place of Nachos with chilli and it was absolutely delicious.....but huge (we still managed to finish it all though). The bar man was very efficient... More

When visiting Boston, our friends who live in Boston suggested we meet up here for a bite and beer before the Red Sox game. It's walking distance to the park btw. Lots of tasty dishes - TOTS. Lots of yummy tots. Impressive and diverse beer selection. Everyone will be happy here - we were! Totally fun hole in the wall... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
